There's an American Girl

Doing the best that she can

Taking her Rank Along side her man

She wears no dog tag Don't carry a military ID

She gets no recognition upon the T.V

She carries A badge that no other possess

its the badge of courage for the man she loves best

There is no pay rate for the job that she does,

She stands beside her Sailor the one that she loves.

She don't get to see him a full 365 days

But maybe half of that is spent with him away

Somewhere in a ship in the Ocean big and blue

Fighting for our Rights and fighting for you

While she sits with a Silent rank

She Cannot sleep at night.

We are not Mothers, Sisters or Wives

But Simply Navy Girlfriends

Who love our soldiers with all our lives.
