How much is too much?

I see all these great ideas for Care packages. I am just afraid of sending too much. I mean, it is my understaning that they have such limited space on the ship. ? I would send one of everything on these great lists if I was sure he could store it until he used it. I have sent 3 boxes but it was mostly foods he requested. Do you know if these sailors will have room in "their space" for all these items? My son just says he doesnt have alot of room. What do you think?

my son says the same thing...I just send mostly snacks unless he specifically asks for things.  It is hard to know WHAT to send!

Sandra,it never lasts long enough to need storage ! It is a "I share, you share, we all share" situation, mostly...they love the goodies, and my son in law and daughter always said send whatever,if it is something they don't like, somebody else will love it!

I sent packs of microwave popcorn,mac-n-cheese,soup in a cup, instant oatmeal, ketchup and condiment packages from KFC, McDonald's,the Chinese restaurant,Taco Bell, any where I could get them-and they were willing to give me extras when I told them what for-,because the food on the ship is unseasoned and VERY bland, I hear. I sent ramen noodles, instant sweetened koolaid, hot cocoa, anything that would warm and/or fill a tummy that had missed dinner working odd hours. Being from georgia, I even sent boiled peanuts in a can !LOL
