How long is CTN school?

My son just arrived at Corry Station 03/30/2012.  Just finished a week of CORE classes.  He says he is going to be at Pensacola for a year to year and a half.  I've read old information (2009) that says CTN "A" school is 4 weeks and "C" school is 7 weeks.  I can't seem to find any information about this.  Thanks for any information you can give me.

    Lori,

The old training pipeline for CTNs was that short, but in late 2009 they switched to a different school called JCAC which is approximately six months long. That, along with time spent in holding, can be close to a year in length. Back when I went through BDNA (the old CTN school), they told me that I would be there for a year and a half or more, bit it was only about six months for me. It all really depends on availability in school and out in the 'fleet'.

If you're not already a member, you might want to join the CTN group for more information.

Lori - I totally agree with D comment.  Also join the clockard's CTN group.  They are awesome...

btw: he won't be at Corry for 1 1/2 year.  Probably more like a year, but ask in the CTN section.
