Is there a sponsor program for new students arriving to A school in Meridian, MS?
I am a fairly seasoned sailor. I have been in for just over 8 years and I am an E-6. I was approved to convert to PS through PTS. I will be attending A school in Meridian this August. I would like to get in contact with someone in the area to ask some questions. Please help

Find your Ombudsman. My son is there now, but he is a brand-new sailor, still an SR actually, and you have more experience and knowledge than he does! If you check out the discussion pages, you'll find an Ombudsman named Yaris whose husband is a sailor, and she is very likely to have some answers (?) Fair winds and following seas!

I have been trying to get ahold of Yaris for about a week with no luck. I dont know if she stopped using the site or what :( I saw that she was an ombudsman and thought she'd be the perfect persont to ask. Thank you much for your response though.
