My Sailor is an E-3. He is currently in A-training to be a Sonar Tech at Great Lakes. He graduated from basic training on December 21, 2012 at Great Lakes. He is suppose to go to San Diego after that for more training not sure what the training is called. I guess it is a good reason to call him and find out! ha ha

My son is an ABH2 and is Hangar Bay 2 PO. He has been in for 9 years and this is his second carrier, his first was the Stennis and made 3 deployments - 2 WESTPACS and 1 Sandbox. Did two years shore duty at Meridian Naval Air Station. He is married and they live in Norfolk.

Definitely overdue for me to update my son's status.
He is now an ET2 aboard the USS Cole (yeah, that one) and currently stationed in Norfolk. He is fast approaching year 5 of his 6 year journey and tells us he currently has no plans to re-up.
