Information for families of Navy RPs.

Hello from a Newbie

Hello All - I'm new to this page and to this group and thought I should tell you all a bit about myself.  I have 3 kids.  My oldest son, a Marine. My middle child (another boy) is my Sailor.  He's an RP and graduated from boot last year June 2012.  He's tied to the Marines 2/4 BLT on the USS Bonhomme Richard.  Then there's my baby, my daughter who plans to join the Navy when she graduates.  We are Texans and are a close nit family.  I miss by boys who've both been in over a year.  They left for their respective camps just 2 months apart so twice the heart ache but also twice the pride.  Hoping to get to know you and yours.  Many blessings to your kiddos serving this great nation.    Sarah

Hi, nice to meet you.:)  I too, have three..... all boys. My youngest leaves for navy BC in 33 days and now my middle one is wanting to join the marines in the spring:/  ....  I have an oldest who cant get his life straightened out so no telling what is going to go on with him.... I was thinking the other day, i could literally have them all gone at the same doggone time ... It is such a bittersweet thing. I am so proud of my middle and youngest boys, choosing the military as part of their life goals. I will miss them terribly but it sounds like you know all about that , as well.  I wish you and yours blessings:)

        Hi Sarah,

I also have three kids.  My oldest, a daughter is a sailor.  She has been in for two years now.  My middle child, also a daughter is currently in BC.  She will heading off to A school for RP after graduation in a few weeks.  My baby is 11, a son. He has wanted to be a Navy SEAL forever.  lol  Even before his sisters joined the Navy.  Like you, our family is very close.  We miss our girls so much but are also so extremely proud of them.  Groups like this are great for getting us through!  Becky
