My Fiance left for boot camp today and I'm just curies about a few things. When can we get married? We would like to make sure that I am placed on his orders as well. Can he get married the weekend between boot camp and A school? If not is he allowed to get married at all during A school when he has reach level three of liberty?

I would not try to get married the weekend between boot camp and A School. Often they have to sign a statement saying they will NOT get married that weekend, and there can be repercussions if they do. Also, there may simply not be enough time to physically get it done. It's a rushed weekend. He may be on a plane the morning after PIR. You won't know until you get down there and he gets his travel info. Instead of running around trying to get married, ENJOY your weekend with your fiance. He can submit a chit to get married while in A School.

My husband and I got married last year while he was in A-school in Great Lakes. He graduated from boot camp during the first week of December. He filled out his chit to get married on the Monday after he graduated. He had to attend sessions with a chaplain and a financial planning class. We knew that Great Lakes was going to be on stand down for the holidays, so we got married in my hometown during that time and actually had a real wedding ceremony with out family and friends although I had to plan it in 6 weeks (we were able to talk on Thanksgiving day to set the date).
I hope this helps you a little, but it is very possible to get married while in A-school.
