Navy Gateway Inn and Suites or Navy Lodge

Has anyone stayed at the Navy Gateway Inn and Suites before?  The one on base. 

I heard the Navy Gateway is right across from A school  on base but not as nice as the Lodge.  Opinions please!

I am going for my son's BC grad and am staying until the Monday after to spend as much time as I can with him before he starts GL A school!

    I have stayed at both, the Navy Lodge and Navy Gateway Inn and Suites. To be honest, I like the NGIS better. It's like being in an apt. It had a kitchen, living area, and bedroom all separated. The rooms are very nice and cheaper than the lodge. Hope this helps.
