Hi everyone, I just got back from going to Great Lakes for the meet and greet last week. Another admin and I from the facebook groups try to go once a year. This helps us be able to offer the best advice for all of you and for all the members on the facebook groups. 2/5 was a HUGE PIR group and there were a lot of people. It was so nice meeting so many people and I wish I could be there for every meet and greet. They would have to move it further south for me to do that lol.

The biggest and best change is the Photo Lab/NEX on Base now has ship coins for each ship in boot camp and they also have Division coins for all the divisions. Also, each division's recruits make and design a DIV flag that is different than all the division flags ever made. They are putting each divisions flag on a coin. And the best part of all, all the profits go back to the MWR which is Morale, Warfare and Recreation for the recruits/Sailors. And it just keeps getting better. They are all less than $20 each :)

Oh how I wish I could have gotten those for my daughter when she was there. Here are just a couple examples of the coins. Each ship has their own coin and each Div/brother Div has a coin as well. Plus each division will have a flag coin. They will be available in the ceremony hall and they also have a table set up at the Navy Lodge on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. This is all new and you all are so lucky to have these awesome, much less expensive choices where the money goes back to the Sailors. :)
