Dental Tricare

Hi guys I have got a few quick questions about the dental tricare system. I signed up over the phone for my dental coverage, and gave them my debit card info for them to take the money out of my account. I saw the amount come out the first month, but have not seen it come out again the second month. Does it automatically come out of my husband's paycheck or should it be showing up on our bank account? I also have received several copies of paperwork for enrollment forms for dental coverage asking for a check for the first month. Am I supposed to fill those out as well? Lastly, if I am covered, do I just use my ID card for dental or do they like to see some sort of insurance card? Thanks!

    Hi,

    It's actually called Met Life - hopefully you signed up for the right thing? Tricare is entirely separate and does not cover dental. The amount comes out of his paycheck automatically, just like the amount for Tricare does. Your ID card can be your insurance card but they also should have emailed you another one you can use along with more enrollment paperwork.
