EOD @ Eglin

I have read the move to Eglin is the longest part of the EOD training.  Just curious, do they live on base the entire time or can they live off base?  Are they still provided meals as they are at Panama City?  It's just such a long time there was wondering how it all is done. Are they allowed to rent vehicles ?  Appreciate any info anyone can provide.  Thanks bunches.

    My son said they run a bus for school but the Navy guys carpool and he said the galley is very close to barracks. Hope all your sailors are doing well. This is a long journey so with saying that I will keep everyone in prayer.

      My son said they run a bus for school nut the Navy guys car pool. All branches are at Eglin for EOD school. He also said the galley is close to the barracks.

        Just curious, any moms headed out to Eglin this weekend to their sailor?  And/or see the Blue Angels in Pensacola?
