If going to A School in Great Lakes, how much time do they get for liberty following graduation? can they wear civilian clothes in A school? And, do they get liberty for Christmas?

They report to check in after graduation, you do have sometime together. Then he will call you to pick him up at the gate. I believe it is about 10 PM they need to return that Friday, we were able to drive my sailor to his ship. They have liberty that Saturday and Sunday however the same person that signs them out must be the same to sign them back in. They can only wear civilian cloths inside the hotel room. Not sure about Christmas/

My son arrives at A School tomorrow. Taking a taxi from the O'Hare Airport. It looks like the taxi is only able to drop off at one location on the base. I am wondering how he will get to where he needs to be with all of his luggage from the drop off point. Any help would be appreciated.

If staying at Great Lakes for A School, can we purchase toiletry items for him and maybe bring him socks and a few clothing items like work out cloths and his tennis shoes from home. Can he take these thing back to his A School. Planning on getting him what he needs after PIR. Can we do this?
