Hi Navy wife for life - at some point during boot camp they should sit down & have a talk with your SR about what he will need to do to get you moved to GC.  I remember when my son was in BC there were some married nukes there & they were given time after BC to go home & get their wives & move to GC.  I'm not sure if it is still the same (this was in 2012) but I don't think it has changed.  In the meantime you should start packing so you are ready to go as I don't think he will have a lot of time.  As far as documents I'm sure you'll have to prove that you are married.  Did they require proof of marriage before he left?
