He will more than likely have to purchase internet if he will have his laptop, my daughter uses BOINGO and it is working out ok.  I don't know if there are any rules you will need to be aware of, he will have duty every few days, my daughter tends to have it in the middle of the night, which I think is crazy, but it is there job.

  Tell your sailor to do their very best, they are being paid to go to school unlike their friends who will be accumulating student debt and the better they do, the better their future wishes become.  Best of luck to you both!
