My cough and cold are gone!   I’ll be ready for some baby snuggles!  I can’t leave out the grand dogs and cats cuddles too.  

Jacob94mom - woohoo - so glad you are feeling better!  Enjoy those snuggles.  I'm on countdown until we fly out on Saturday....can't wait for my snuggles too!

Just got a text from B&C.  Oli had his dr appt this morning and he's at 11lbs 12oz!!!!  He'll be 4 weeks on Saturday when we arrive.  I can't believe how big he is - I guess so much for me seeing a "little" newborn lol!  C said my arms are going to feel like jello after carrying him around lol.  He needs to stop growing until Lolli gets there!!!!

Jacob94mom - how is your visit going with Cameron?

 Compared to Oli Cameron is a peanut, just over 7lbs!  I love being here and seeing my son son be a great hands on dad!  He never was a baby person, it was a struggle to get him to hold his nieces.  He has night shift since mom is pumping, prepping him for when she has to go back to work in a week. Jacob is off until August.  They are a bit concerned because they are on a waiting list at two daycares, there are just no openings and no SAHM’s they’ve found.   My son wants us to move here, but safely we just can’t right now.   
   Cameron is such a good baby! He rarely cries, only when he’s getting hungry, even then it’s just little peeps.  He definitely doesn’t not like being cold or having no clothes on though! 
Today is our last day here it’s going to be hard to leave for sure   

Jacob94mom - wow!  Cameron is just a little peanut compared to Oli.  From what B&C are telling me Oli is still awake a LOT at night and he basically eats nonstop.  She's nursing so she's exhausted.  She's going to start pumping so hopefully she can get a little ahead of him and then we can offer a bottle to give her a break.  B got 4 weeks off and she's pretty much off for the whole summer and through December because she's working on her Master's Thesis.  She'll have to finish up research, etc but luckily she can do that from home.  So in their case they don't have to look for daycare right not.  I know that daycare seems to be one of the biggest concerns for new parents.  I just don't know how they do it now.  I thought it was hard when we had our boys but sheesh, it seems even harder now..... I hope they are able to figure something out - I'm sure they will of course, but the stress of it isn't fun.  I would love to be able to move to MI to be closer to them but it's not in the cards right now....hubby and I both are still working and the hard part is medical insurance.....ugh I haven't even seen Oli yet in person and I'm already missing seeing him grow up.  Dang this is hard!

But tomorrow afternoon we will be there!  I can't wait!

B'sNukeMoM⚓️MMN and Jacob94mom - congratulations on your new bundles of joy and being a grandparent.  I can't believe how quick they grow up, my granddaughters are 8 and 9 1/2 years old. 

Happy 1st day of summer!

I'm back - well I've actually been back for a bit but trying to play catch up at work lol.

Had a wonderful visit in Michigan with Oli and B&C.  We really didn't do much of anything - just got lots of snuggles.  It was amazing to me how much he changed in just the week we were there.  It was really hard to leave and I'm already trying to figure out when I can go back.  This long distance stuff is for the birds lol!

Hi all - Happy Tuesday!  I just booked my flight to visit my lil Oli in September ;-D  And I'm going to be a big girl and fly all by myself! 

This will for sure be an adventure lol!

Last week he weighed in at 12lbs 9.5 oz!  He's getting so big so fast!!!!  And he's starting to get more of a personality, it's amazing how much change can happen in one week at this age.

 12 lbs!  He’s doing great! Cameron doesn’t have an appointment until he’s 2 months, I’m excited to hear how he’s doing.  J called last week and asked when he would roll over, I said about 3 months. He said, well he just did it!  At 5 weeks lol it was probably an accident because he was mad about tummy time.  But that’s how they start!  

You can do it B! I flew once by myself to surprise my older son to attend his nursing school graduation.  I was familiar with the connecting airport (Atlanta which is huge!) and had plenty of time so it wasn’t bad.  I was a bit nervous e though! 

Just got a text from C and she said Oli is weighing in at 13lbs 7oz now!  He gained a pound since last week!  OMG!

Hi all! Excited Nana here!  I got a video a few days ago of Cameron rolling over and on purpose! They say he does it all the time now. That little bugger is 6 weeks old and rolling over. 
they are still searching for child care. They are on a waiting list at two places. If anyone knows anyone is the Suffolk area let me know!

Thanks B! But it says 15 months to 5 years.  So that’s not gonna work quite yet.  Lol    A friend gave her another group to join and try, hopefully they can find something there.   

Well bummer - I didn't catch that.  I sure hope they can find something.  Daycare sure seems to be hard to come by....

We facetimed with B&C & Oli yesterday.  Little man is almost 15lbs now.  They moved him into 6-9months clothes lol!  He's growing way to fast!!

Cameron is rolling - woohoo - good for him!  Now he'll be rolling all over the place lol!  No stopping him now ;-D

Good morning ladies! 2 month update on baby C.  He grew an inch and is up to 9 lbs. since he’s 21 inches and only 9 lbs he’s only at the 1 percentile.  Tall and skinny boy.  Mom and dad are going to try to increase his feeding amount since he’s still at 3 Oz every 2-1/2 to 3 hours.  Overnight he goes 4 or 5.  
 My kids were never on the chart until over a year and he’s  healthy otherwise so they are not concerned.  
  Trying to plan out next visit.  But we have a Hawaii cruise scheduled for Nov so that’s making things difficult.  

Jacob94mom - woohoo - look at Cameron grow!  Oli has his appointment tomorrow for shots - I'm anxious to see what his weight is up to.....I'm guessing he'll be just over 15lbs now lol!  He just started going about 5 hours (once) at night, then about 3-4 hours the rest of the night.  Will sure be nice for them when it's a good 8+ hour stretch!  We had our weekly FaceTime yesterday and it's just amazing how much he has changed just in the last couple of weeks.  They are getting more of a routine now so that sure helps. 

I've already got my next ticket booked for September!  Your Hawaii cruise sounds like fun!

So they had their appointment this morning and he's not 15 lbs yet...14lbs 9oz and he's 24.5inches long!  And his noggin measures 16inches!

Oli had his 3 month check-up yesterday.  He's 16lb 9oz and 26.25" long - he gained 2 pounds in a month!  Growing by leaps and bounds.  Sleep schedule is much better now too so C is finally getting more sleep at night.  I fly out on 9/1-9/9 - can't wait to squeeze him!

We close escrow today on a condo in MI.  Going to rent it out for a few years and then hopefully we'll be able to head that way closer to retirement.  Something to look forward to!

That’s awesome B!  Oli is twice the size as our Camden!  He is still a skinny tall boy. But happy and healthy.  Talking and giggling and almost sitting up!  Happy to report they did find a sitter at the last minute.   They had a week with no sitter as she recovered from surgery. But mom was able to take Cam to work part time and work from home.   He’s adjusting to the new sitter this week.  
  More baby news! Our second grandson (of 11, 9 girls) was born on Monday!  Short easy delivery for mom this time.  Labor started about 1 am, went to the hospital at 4am and he was born at 9:25 am.  Second babies are so much easier!  Usually. 
 Benjamin (Benny) David  7lbs 9oz.  20 inches long. 
  B I will message you pictures of both babies to post here.  I forgot I forgot I can do that!

Congratulations on the new grandbaby!  The boys need to catch up with the girls lol!

the top is my sailor and his now 3 1/2 month old. The bearded man is my oldest son with his now two week old baby boy. 
 I’m happy to report we booked flight to go visit the newest one in SC in a few weeks.  And my sailor and his wife may be able to drive up also!  The cousins can meet too.  Pray it all works out!
