What Sun? We don't get sun.

Yeah. It would be nice to have sun. But Seattle only gets sun in August. other wise it is rain. YUCK! I want snow so bad.

I will just have to plan on visiting you next year so I can see snow. Watch next year it won't snow. LoL! I will just have to go up to the mountains and see snow, but I really don't drive in it so I will have to have someone take me. I think you are right. on the vacation in the snow.

Maybe I should. I will look into that. When it the game?

You can certainly come here to OH and visit and I can take you further north to the snow belt where you can see lots and lots of snow!!!  And I don't think you ever have to worry about it not snowing in OH!!!!!

I think I should plan on this next year. When I visited my relatives(when they live there) in PA it was snowing and I really like that kind of snow. We get wet yucky snow here. That only last for either a few hours or one day. This year we have not had a good snow that closed everything down.

That actually sound cool. I will see if I can swing it. I will put on the calendar for 2nd weekend in December.

I'm fustrated right now. One of our adjudicators keeps trying to get away with making me do stuff RIGHT NOW! when she know that these people were coming today. She waited until the last minute to get me to copy a file (3Vols.) when I do my copying in the Early morning before everyone gets here.URRRRRRR!!!!!.

I wish I could tell her to do it herself. My supervisor is going to handle it. So she won't do this all the time. This is the 2nd time this week. Yesterday she had a file that was about 4 Vol. that need to be done NOW. That one actually hurt my shoulder so now I am working again with a sore shoulder. Still looking for a new doctor on that one. Group Health wouldn't give me the recorders or mail them to the doctor I want to see. So I asked L & I if they could send the recorders. They are but only after I send them a letter asking them to. What red tape we all go through to get anything done. While I am back at my work. Which seems to keep piling up even if I am doing other things. Yicks! I am glad you are feeling fine. Sorry for the rant. I am having one of those days.

I know what you mean. You can never be caught up. There is always things to do. Last week I had no files at my desk this week there are tons of files. Yes, have a good laugh. It is sort of funny to think that even someone who works in L&I still has trouble getting what they need. LOL. That just tells you how screwed up everything is.

Gee Guess what? It actually is sunshining out here. NO Rain today. YEAH! I didn't look out the window. The last time I looked it was cloudy so I just assumed that it was going to rain again. YEAH!! SUN!!!!!

Yes, it really does. It make you want to do the Happy dance. I want to go out at lunch and just sit there. At 54 you almost can. It still has the wind blowing though. But it is sunny. YEAH!!!!!

Yes, it will. I have 10 minutes and then that is what I am going to do. Take my book and go out. See ya in 30 minutes.

I come back in. It is cold with the wind. I guess I will have to wait for summer. LOL

LOL, Yeah I am up before the birds most of the time. In the winter I don't get to see day light.

I agree if we have snow, I wait until after 7 to see if our office is closed. I have until 11 to make it in on snowy days. So snow is not bad. It is good.

When the office closes we still have to work from home. So I usually have to be prepared to bring stuff home if they ( the weathermen) talk about snow. So it really is not a day off. It just a day at home working. It sort of sucks. It use to be a day off, they changed there policy as of the 1st of this year. I guess they thought to many of us were just using it to play in the snow. Yeah Right!!!

Now you know why I like snow. No commute of 25 minutes every day back and forth. Yes, they use to pay us for not coming in. Now they want us to work at home. I guess by what we bring back the next day. I don't know how they will determine that we actually worked. I guess there are dishonest people out there. I would not do that. They don't expect us to work a whole day. Just 3 or 4 hours.

Good morning Jean!!  How is everything with you out your way?  I'm sitting here watching the soft snowfall outside.  Getting ready to go out and have to drive in it!!

I will trade you. We have fog right now but it is suppose to be sunny today. Yes, Seattle gets sun sometimes. The weather here is more like spring then winter. Which is sort of scary since we really have not had as bad of a winter as you guys have had. Drive careful.

Yes, my daughter had even commented on how mild the winter was there this year.  Her and her hubby are having a short vacation in southern CA right now and she makes a point to call me every day and tell me how warm and sunny it is there!!!!  She was out by the pool soaking up some sun yesterday and I told her she was going to get all tanned and then look like a freak when she gets back up to Silverdale!!!!!

Non, everyone will know that she went on vacation or a tanning booth. That is the only way to get tan here. lol.

Yes, My evening was ok. It helps to get your f frustration out when you go to the gym and hit a ball again a wall. It allowed me to be able to handle another day like yesterday today. I guess I will be going back to the gym tonight to do the same thing I did last night. Hit the ball on a wall( racketball )

It was over worked. That would mean you are over worked and need time out. Enjoy your massage.

hello all  hope all is well and everyone is staying warm.  I finally got a new laptop since i gave my daughters back at PIR in November so I should be on more now.  We skyped friday night for almost 2 hours.  Finally had a great conversation.  Her A school is going good at mod 4 test for monday and then about a weeke and a half and done.  She should be getting her orders soon.  Shes hoping for california. She wasnt doing well on her written tests so I told her to slow down  a bit and reread her questions if necessary.  The hands on shes excelling at and shes the only female in the class.  Reading has never really been her strength.  Well I guess we will see what happens monday...

I just got a special weather thing on line that said we could get snow today. YEAH!!!!!! I won't hold my breath though. So I might be with you guys in the snow at least for a few hours. That is all it hangs around for.

We won't get that much if any.

I prepare for the worst and hope for the worst. I remember that. I love the old days. We use to take turns to make sure that when the electricity came on that everything was turned off. Sometimes we would live things on, plus we would have to check the fire in the fire place to make sure it was still going. We did not have generators because it was not needed over here. Board games I use to love playing them and still do. Just don't have a husband that likes them. Kids are all gone so no one to play with them.

There you go. Snowed in with your hubby. What a warm picture that makes. Mine would always find something to do. We don't have heat in our house except for a wood stove so he would probably go out and cut wood.lol. We would stay in the covers only because either one didn't want to get out and start the fire. It gets cold when it snows. We missed the snow today. It is to warm now to snow. I feel disappointed that they say one thing and it does the other. I wish it would snow HARD!! and surprise them all. That would be cool. I can only hope.

Amen to that. He always doesn't think. He would rather be on his boat then be home with me. I sort of think it is because it is one place that he can relax. I can't go on the boat because of my inner ear thing that make me dizzy on boats.

That us funny, I won't go downstairs at my parents house.

There you go. I don't blame you for not wanting to go there. My parents basement was just like that other then it had a floor sort of. It was put in by my dad when we were young. So It was a spooky place. The furnace was there. It growled at us and make funny noises.

I swear that the boggy man live down there as a child. lol.

Blondie that is so cool! I did that when my daughter was in boot camp as soon as i hung up i balled!  I wouldnt cry when she was on phone so I wouldnt upset her then I handed phone to her dad and she would cry on him LOL.  She has been so busy we havent really had the talks like we used to since she went back.  I can imagine how long I will talk to her when she comes back from deployments...

Blondie, that is so funny that she fell a sleep on the phone. My daughter has done that to me. I have no way to call her back because she usually calls us on her cell and her cell has now 2nd line.

I will miss even more. She is on deployment now and is not expected back until late fall. I am going to see her ship come in. That will be a happy time She did not want us there while it left. She said it is to sad.

My girl is hoping to be stationed in Cali so I figure it may be a while before I see her if she is. I have to say Skype is a great for those chats!  How do you comminicate when out on deployment?

This is my daughters 1st deployment. Right now we e-mail each other while I try and get skype on my computer. My lap top is fussy. My son said he will have it up and running soon. It really doesn't matter though. She works 18 hours a day and is not there when I am. So E-mail will have to work for now.

Your going to love skype...so they have that on deployment?  that is great! I figured I would be back to letters or e mail.. have you sent care packages?

I am still not sure they have it on deployment but my daughter told me I need to get it. Yes, I have sent a care package every week. She wanted really food. So I sent her microwaveable food. She said it is better then the food on the ship. She gets tired of that food. I also send her gum. She said they don't have that on the ship and my homemade cookies. She likes rice krispy cookies and power bars. Tuna is a big hit on the care package also.
