Lord, my husband accidentally left his new eyeglasses on top of the vehicle while changing to his sunglasses. (He never does anything like this.) Please help us find his "eyes" in time for church before he has to read his organ music. Amen

My fiance is in bootcamo right now and in his letters he said that him and some friends have a bible and prayer time before they hit the racks, I'm so proud of them for doing that.

Breaux's Girl-- we pray he has found the Sunday services, too. For one more reason--no one to yell at them there.
We are always happy to hear about Bible and prayer time.
How are you doing right now? Boot camp is such a sudden change back home. It serves as a lesson of how to prepare for deployments.

This just fell out of my Bible when I was putting it up for the day, and thought I would pass it on.

A Volunteer's Prayer
O, God,
Today I will be with those who are suffering and frightened, and possibly alone. Some will have no on to talk to today, Lord, but me.

May my arms be strong to give someone a hug, my hands comforting and warm to hold another's hand, and through my eyes and smile may someone know I care.

But most of all, Lord, give my heart the compassion and understadning that will calm another's fears, dry a tear, and give strength to what lies ahead.

I am only one person, Lord, but you and I know one person can and will make a difference in another's life.

And, if I can do that for someone today, when my head lies upon my pillow tonight, and my eyes close, I will be at peace.

Please everyone keep little Ashton Ray in your in your Prayers, Ben and Jazz are having a hard time . Jazz her water broke and she has lost part of the placenta, she is only 23 weeks and 4 days old. If the child can stay in the womb 3 more days it has a 20% - 50% chance of survival. Please lets lift them up in prayer and also Sue this is her first biological grand-child and she iw worried. SO TODAY WE PRAY PRAY PRAY

Prayers for all in the path of hurricane Earl.

Precious Lord, please protect little Ashton Ray and the entire family. Please keep this little one in it's mother's uterus to grow and mature for as long as possible. Thank you especially we don't have to look at medical odds because we know you can make and heal all things 100% because You love us and want the best possible for us. Please bless Sue, calm her heart and mind so that she can feel Your presence and abiding love.

Please pray that the 7th fleet will be safe while doing exercises with the S. Korean military.

My prayers are with you all for the holiday weekend. Please lift up my sailor with your prayers of encouragement.

Yes, my son is on the Fitzgerald (7th fleet) and I am praying too. It's all over the internet as well as a Navy release that part of the 7th fleet is doing exercises with South Korea.

Well, what a day! But God is good and He is in control. And He has given me such a wonderful gift in you all. Thank you for being here for me and my family.

I talked to Jazz's mom tonight. She really needs out prayer. Health and emotion wise.

There will be a memorial service for Ashton Ray on Saturday, 9-11 in Post, TX. Close to Lubbock. We will drive over next Friday. My sonny is deploying real soon also and I need to see him before he goes. I can't let him get on that ship without a hug from his mom.

Dear Lord--thank you for the praises of such a wonderful church service today. We start at 7:45 AM praying in the fellowship hall for all our leaders and to open hearts to God's word. Then the service and communion. Then, knowing there is a full week to proclaim your word and live your message. Praises and Amen!

Thank you Lord for your peace today. Lord, I lift up the SR's that are due to PIR 9/24/2010. Although they have faced some difficultly, Lord we place them in your hands and ask that you show them how to cast out all fear doubt and unbelief in what you have placed in them. Lord for all of those who do not know you in the salvation of their sins I ask that you send your people with your word in the mouths to reach them. In Jesus mighty name.

Lord we ask you for peace that surpasses all understanding for Nurse Navy Mom. You said in your word that you capture the tears of the righteous in a bottle and pour it out over the altar in heaven. Those tears are a sweet savor in your nostrils and a prayer before you. Lord I thank you for sending your angels to comfort Nurse Navy Mom and help to restore her heart. In Jesus name. Amen.

Father we lift up the families in Boulder CO, who are now with the lives and homes in jepardy because of the wild fires. Lord, you can go where we can not and Father we ask that you continue to watch over them and keep them as this event is happening. Father we ask that you cover and keep the firefighters, paramedics, police and other first responders as they battle the fire and work to minimize the loss of life and property. Father for those who have experienced a loss, we ask that you restore and revive them. That you would send your people to minister and encourage them. Father that your peace and love would penetrate those feelings of devestation (sp?) and hurt and show them that you feel their hurt and can and will heal them. Father we pray in Jesus name.

Lord we pray in agreement for Allison's speedy recovery and successful outcome of her surgery. We pray in agreement for Carol's family as they stand in love with her son so he can over come addiction and any thing that would block his relationship with you. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord we pray for peace and wisdom to prevail in the impending situation with the Pastor in Florida and the Muslim world. Father, we ask that you intervene with all those who have an ear to hear the Spirit of the Lord to keep peace, to keep our military men and women safe. Dear Father in Heaven, we come to you today, this solemn day of remembrance for us, 9/11. Our hearts are heavy for those who died today and especially for all those who are serving and dying in the fight against terrorism. Thank you God for being here to comfort all of us. I pray for all my Navy mom friends whose sons or daughters are deployed now because of what happened 9 years ago today that they will know how much their child's selfless service is appreciated and respected. Please be with all members of our armed forces regardless of which branch they chose. Protect them and bring them home safely. Please wrap your loving arms around us and give us peace. Amen.

Lord, we thank You that so far the pastor in FL has not gone ahead with his plan. We know that You are in total control of this and Your perfect will will be done. Father please protect our sons and daughters today, especially those who are deployed to hostile places. I haven't been on this website in such a long time. Sorry, it has been such a busy and chaotic 4 months. My son, Allen is still stationed in Diego and is expecting his first child this month. He won't be able to be here in the U.S. for the delivery, but will hopefully be able to take leave shortly after to come home and meet his new baby girl. Things are very unstable with Al and his wife, Jessica. I have found out she has been unfaithful to my son since he left to go overseas in May, 2010. She is pregnant with my 5th granddaughter, Allen's child and can't seem to find it in her heart to be faithful to her marriage vows and especially while she is carrying his child and he is away for a year. She is very unhappy with him being in the Navy (even though she was very well aware of this when they wed and got pregnant) and his being stationed overseas for a year. Please pray for my son and this situation. I am so very heartsick about it all and can only give it over to God. We aren't even allowed to have contact with my DIL, because she has basically disowned our whole family. I don't even know if I will be allowed to see or know when my granddaughter, Maddox is to be born. Thank you all for your loving care, prayers and concern. God bless you all.

Oh Father we come to You on behalf of Cheryl, her son Allen, and his wife Jessica. Only You can understand their feelings and the heavy hearts. Lord Jesus we just ask that You will step into this situation. May Jessica realize that she has not only been unfaithful to her husband but to the vows she spoke before You. Please bless and honor Allen and lead him Lord according to Your love for him and the wife & baby you have given to him. But especially Lord, please bless my sister, Cheryl. Lord assure her that You hear her every prayer and every tear & prayer she sheds You are preserving in a bowl because she is precious in Your sight. Father please give her Your comfort and peace, the only comfort and peace that can cover her breaking heart. And, please protect Baby Maddox from all harm. Lord, I pray in agreement with your prayer warriors and ask you to restore the marriage in accordance with your will. Father we know that where sin is present your grace abounds. Lord we ask that you show Allen's wife the error of her ways. Lord we know that you have a way with your children that when you speak you can reach of us in a way like no one else can. Father you said in your word that wisdom cries alound in the gates of the city, Lord give Allen's wife an ear to hear that call and a heart to receive you. If she does not know you in the salvation of her sins, Father we ask that you help her to see the need in her life for you, your word, your salvation and freedom.

Lord we ask that you continue to give Cheryl peace and comfort as only you can. Father help her to rest in you and lay this heavy burden at the foot of the cross and leave it there. Help her to trust you in this very difficult situation and tumultuous time in her family. Father guide her and the family in their interaction with Allen as his wife that they would support them and encourage them in their marriage. Father as painful as this betrayal has been, we know that all things are possible with you and through you and if you deem it so, it will be. So Lord we stand with Cheryl in prayer for salvation, deliverance and conversion for her family in this situation. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Dear Father God, thank you so much for such a BEAUTIFUL day!! I am so grateful that You have allowed us to have such wonderful weather with all the sunshine and warm temperatures. I know it will be snowing soon here in Michigan and I will not be happy and will be complaining about it, but as for now...THANK YOU!

I ask for You to watch over Allen in Diego today. I just talked to him and it seems that he is very fed up with the situation and treatment he is receiving from Jessica. Lord, please help him through all of this and give him comfort and strength. His daughter, Maddox is to be born very soon, only you know the date for sure. And I am worried for Allen because he isn't going to be there and Jessica is making such awful remarks to Allen. Please Father, could you work on Jessica's heart and mind? Turn her heart back to what she felt, knows and vowed to their marriage and relationship before he shipped out. It is so difficult as a loving mother to sit by and watch a child go through such pain. You know this more than any of us God, since You sent Your son, Jesus to go through so much pain and suffering for us. Even though we don't deserve Your grace and love, Father we are so thankful. Thank you for allowing me to come to You today and everyday with all that is needed.

Father, I pray for my friends here on this website that need your love and comfort too. Help Blondie to be able to fix her computor and internet so that she can do her job and continue to praise and honor You with it. Also, for NurseNavyMom Sheila and her daughter who is going through such heartbreaking and difficult times too. Guide and comfort them.

Yesterday, my stepfather in CA needed emergency surgery and is in critical condition. It broke my heart to hear my mother cry this evening. They lightened his sedation long enough for her to say what she wanted to say to him and he squeezed her hand. The doctors are not optimistic. Please say a prayer?
