Father God, I lift up each and every person here and their loved ones that have needs and prayer requests. You Father are the only ONE who we can turn to to get the love and comfort that surpasses all. Also, God you know the struggles that I am having with my new job. Amen to your prayer. I will take it. I'm going to the doctor today to find out why I keep running a temperature. It is over 100 today. Yesterday it was 99.9 at the highest. I think I have bronchitis again. So I will take that prayer and pass my own on to you all. I will be praying for everyone today to keep they in his arms safe and sound.

Good morning God. Thank you so much for placing this teacher's institute today---how much I have needed a restorative night's sleep and day off as school cook. We have been working hard on all our audits as well as being a person short on our crew. You have provided us with work, food, friends and good famlies.
It has been a full run for almost 8 weeks with no days off from my job or my home business. Today will be spent in full glory of all your great deeds.

I know you have to be suffering right along with your son. God please comfort BHappy and her son while they go through such a difficult and heartwrenching time. Only You can get them through this and comfort them as they do. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this situation also. Also, Father we ask for healing to Jean so that she may enjoy the time she is going to be visiting with her sailor son. We know that this has to be the most difficult time in her life. Let her know there are many who are praying for her and asking for her to be loved and comforted. I am also going to be a little selfish today Lord and ask for your guidance and strength in the decision on my new job. I am in such turmoil with this job and trying to decide if I am to look for another. The job has gotten to be a much more stressful and difficult than I thought. Please help me through this. Also, please be with Allen, Jessica and Maddox. I pray that Allen will be allowed to come home very soon to be with his family. Thank you Father for all that You are and all that You do. Please help me through the rest of my shift here & help me to find a different job where I will be a instrument for You. I am begging You, Father. I really don't think I can take another day of this. Father, I just want to thank you for my dear sisters here who prayed me and my family during my Dad's last days and then on through the preparations, funeral & burial. Thank you, Father God for the loving and caring people here on this website. They are such a blessing and extension of Your love. My friend has asked me to lift up her son, Mike, his wife, Blyss,and their unborn baby. Mike is having a very difficult time in a program the Navy asked him to do. There have been some very hard times as they worry whether he will be allowed to re-class or even stay in the Navy, as this program turned out to be way more intense than he anticipated. I first met Mike almost 2 1/2 years ago as I fed him on base for a Thanksgiving. Since, then, he has been one of my adopted kids.
Please hold him and his young family in your arms and prayers.

Hello Everyone, Sorry I've been away for so long, I have so much trouble getting online with you all. The system I'm on is so restricted that it's almost impossible, so I just keep clicking until it allows me to post, I can still read all your posts though so I've been reading along a bit. I wanted to give you all an update on my nephews condition. Matt had his urethra repair surgery a few days ago, he came through with flying colors and is expected to recover very well. Thank you all for your prayers and support. My son is scheduled to return from his deployment in Afghanistan, "the sandbox" in approximately 5 weeks. We haven't heard from him in a few days, so please pray for his safe return to us. God bless you all, I will continue to pray for you and if I disappear again for awhile, just wave and know I'm reading and I've just gone mute again. Hugs to you all!

Hello, I'm 1st Class Calvin's cousin. Although, I'm not a Navy Mother, I wanted to write and extend my appreciation and thanksgiving to each of you who kept my cousin in your prayers over the last couple of weeks.

Shortly after my cousin died, I ran across this support group and began reading all of the wonderful prayers and thoughts that were said for 1st Class Calvin, and his family. This goes without saying, but Calvin's passing is a tremendous shock and heartbreaking to our entire family. However, I was able to pull some comfort and strength from your prayers and the admiration you all expressed for him! The comments that were posted made me so proud to be his cousin. You see, I've always known him as my "baby cousin"...the one who could brighten any room simply by being there, the one known for his pracitical jokes, great sense of humor and laughter. I've always known that 1st Class Calvin's personality was infectious to those who knew him, but your prayers tell me so much more and again I thank you for that!!!! May his memory be eternal!

I know that God's will is purposeful, but lossing him is so hard to understand...and I'm asking that you all continue to keep Kumba's mother, son, sisters, brothers and cousins in your prayers. And if our paths never cross again, please know that this "introduction" has blessed me and given me peace; and I will value it forever. In closing, I will continue to keep you all, your sons and daughters in my prayers and thoughts. May God Bless each of you and supply you with all of your needs.

what's up, good people! my wife and I need some prayer. Thankfully, our marriage is going well. Both just need prayer to continue to have a strong faith in this time of being apart from each other because of bootcamp. individually, i need prayer of praise for being blessed with another year of life. I turn 25 today and I feel very blessed to have lived another year. Furthermore, He's blessed me with an amazing wife who's in love with me for who i am, even though i'm not perfect and I love her the same way. I'd also like some prayer for my wife to be given all the strength possible to do all of her tasks. I know she's capable of doing anything, and even more when we're together. God's put so many obstacles in our path of being together and because we have strong faith and stuck by each other's side, we've overcome these obstacles (i.e. fears, fights, doubts and frustration). In return, i'll be praying for all of you. Even if i don't know you, i'm sure a prayer will go your way. I send my best to you all and may God Bless you and your families.

Dear Father God, I am praying for You to cover my son, Allen with Your loving protection as he travels home to the United States from overseas. Please allow him, Jessica and the girls to have a loving and joyful reunion on Friday when he arrives in Ohio. Praying for him and the girls to have a safe trip also to Michigan to visit all of us here. Please allow me to have time to visit with them all. This is the first time I will have to hold and love on my new granddaughter Maddox and I pray that it is a blessed time. Dear God, thank you for such a restful nights sleep. I am wondering where my son Allen is right now and how far his airplane has gotten. Lord, please watch over, guide and protect him in his travels today. Allow him to get to Ohio so that he can reunite with his family. Please give me the strength and right words to say when I talk to the people at the job I am quiting. Help me to not be nervous to tell them that I won't be finishing out my week of work due to my new job work schedule and visit of my son. Help it to go well. Thank you Father God for giving me the new/old job to go back to. For opening up Valerie's heart and mind to allow me to come back to work for her. I pray that You will bless me with enough cleaning jobs with Val to make enough money to pay all my bills and still have money for food and gas for my truck. Thank you God for loving and caring for me, my family and our military all over the world.

The last few days have been so dark in the morning as I leave to work. This morning, the Harvest Moon was still hanging out. What a gorgeous site. I saw it last night as I headed home late from a meeting.
I drive through country roads to get to work, and most of the harvest is in. Please bless our farmers.
Please continue to bless all who travel the same roads that we do.
Please be with our families, friends and church families.

Wow Lord! How you treated me today at a Woman's Retreat. Our host church was outstanding at hospitality. Our guest speakers had us in tears of shared comfort, laughing about the loves of our lives, and staking our claims as one of God's Children. Thank you for helping me learn more about my sisters of God who attended from our church. Thank you for the courage of the guest speakers to share their lives. And thank you for the Praise Band who lifted our spirits as our souls soared high!

I can relate with each of those here who are going through the custody and relationship problems, including their children. I have and am going through some of the same situations and ask for Your grace and guidance for the judges in each of these situations. Thank you Father for guiding and protecting Allen and his family in their travels to the United States and to Michigan and back to Ohio. Please give them the time and wisdom in dealing with their relationship. Strengthen their marriage and bond with each other and the girls, too. Thank you also for allowing Jessica to soften her heart toward me also. Please allow us to have a loving, strong and open relationship again. Be with all of my family wherever they are. Losing a parent is never easy--no matter that we are adults. I felt so oprhaned when my Dad died--then my Mom a few years later. At this time, though, losing my brother has been so hard. I so want to talk to them. I praise my grief workshop--it was so helpful. And doing the Bible study with "90 Minutes in Heaven."
We all want our families to have strong marriages. We must pray for that bond continuously.
Custody--yes, been there with my step-daughter. Her mother would disappear with her on our visitation days. It broke my heart to see my husband so upset. Now we have such a good relationships with her--and to know how many years she tried to get us inculded in high school and college graduations, visits, etc. However, she came to us first when she met her future husband and happily eloped. So, our prayers were answered for her happiness. She and our son are quite close--as close as you can be when she and hubby live in Germany, and son is in the Navy. They facebook a lot, which is great.
So, may God be your guide, and may we be the shoulders you can safely and comfortably lean upon in tough times.

Lord I pray for my daughter in her third week of booot camp. She holds you in her heart and shines with your grace. My King Lord, bless all our new salors. Thank you for your gifts and help us to be strong while we wait to see, to hug, and talk to them soon. Amen.

This is the first time I'm posting - I have been through 2 very serious surgeries this past year to remove 2 spinal cord tumors. My relationship with the Dear Lord has become so much closer because of this. He has answered all of my prayers for 2 safe and successful surgeries. However, the Dr. has spotted yet another spot where the 2nd surgery was performed. He isn't alarmed yet, saying it could be a vessel, scar tissue or a number of other things, including the regrowth of the tumor. I ask that My Dear Father have mercy on me and touch me with his healing hand. To please let the spot be exactly what the doctor said, a vessel or scar tissue. Please Dear Lord command all illness or disease to leave my body and restore me to perfect health, so that I can continue to do your will...your will be done.

Also, please say a prayer for other spinal cord tumor sufferers, that they to may have safe, successful surgeries and that they will find refuge with our God.

Prayer request for my Navy/NYPD son. He is inactive right now & works for NYPD presently. Right now he is working in the anti-terrorism unit within NYPD because of all that is going on with UPS and now FedEx and suspicious packages. Please pray for all those involved.

God of Heaven, we acknowledge you as sovereign of this world. Lord you know our needs even before we know them. We especially pray for our sailors in Japan - please wrap Your loving arms around them and keep them safe. We ask for a wall of safety to keep them safe on land or sea right now. We also pray for all the various PDs in the cities involved with these suspicious packages. We pray Father that You will protect our country. We ask for Your forgiveness for our country's sins and to hear our prayers for the country. We thank You Father that You are more powerful than any evil force active in this world today. Please keep our military safe overseas and bring them safely home to their families. We ask all this in Your Son Jesus' precious name, Amen
