RCU SHIP 04 DIV 741

Seamen Recruits are here getting medical treatment for minor injuries. FIT DIV is also in this area.

I looked for information about SR's that have been removed form all training to get medical treatment and there was nothing here!  I hope we can all help each other help our SR's!

My daughter calls once a week.  She is seeing several doctors.  They say she has high blood pressure and enlarged heart.  So far they aren't saying she's coming home but how can they help her pass the run test & physical required to qualify for any position to continue on in the Navy?  She been disqualified from ever being a Fireman which is what job description she tested out to do.

She's getting pretty depressed.  She was originally due to graduate May 26th.

WOW samiam I would think she would be sent home right away if there was a medical reason for her not to be in the Navy.  Sheesh the RTC's gave her the high blood pressure!  It's my understanding if you have to get a new rate you have to go back through meps to do so.  You can call the RTC and check on her condition and you might get better information.  This is a place for minor medical however so feel good about that and she is getting very good care!

My SR will finally go to BS tonight!  Thank the lord!

If you come here and I don't respong right away message me :o)

Hi I can't believe I finally found a group that has someone on ship 04 div 2341, My daughter has been there since sometime after May 13th.  She has 4 or 5 stress fractures, anemia and maybe a low heart rate.  She has five stages to complete in her healing process and she now on stage two.  What happens after they get well, she did not graduate with division
  • Parrothdgal

    Mama...

She will be placed back into a DIV at the same point where she left off!  She will finish BC with them and get to graduate with that class.  At what point was she placed in this ship?   Don't be worried about the stages of healing...bottom line is she will set the pace.  My now sailor got out of there in less that 2 weeks.  She finished her final PFA with 2 stress fractures. It was the worst thing for her going to this program and you as the Mom get very little information!  It will be hell there...they really make them want to get out!

I have another group if you want to take a look.  Search for "Letters of Support for your SR!" :o)

Hello to all -- I got the bad news phone call last night.  He' sprained his ankle severely - didn't tell anyone for 4 days. Couldn't pass final run and do BS - He was to PIR on July 1.  I'm so glad to find this group - I checked only the division # at first - that can be pretty depressing - I'm glad to know that this is for minor injuries and that my SR will be placed back into a Div.  He's down in the dumps a bit - but" keeping his head held high and his chin up."

It happens all the time Sharon...............I'm glad he is goiong to be okay.  It's a crap place to end up but he will get out of ther fairly fast.

Are they less restrictive about mail and/ or care packages?
