sandman713 I thought my 2 with -10 to -15 wind chill for tomorrow was cold.  I am freezing here in PA.

Good morning ladies! I am logging in with -13 degrees below and wind chills of -25 below this morning! VERY COLD out there.  Sandman: Sounds like you and I are in about the same cold pattern. But at least no snow right now and the main roads are clear so I will take that! Catsmom: 5:30am is very early! I get here to work at 8am-that's early enuf for me thank you! Especially in this COLD!!!

I know the lady I ordered them from has a Facebook page: The Mad Painter. Have a great day everyone! 

Everyone: I was jsut going to comment who to order the glasses from and looks like Coach Sheila beat me to it. yes it is The Mad Painter in FACEBOOK and she does pub glasses, beer steins and wine glasses. On the FACEBOOK Truman Moms site they were talking about it and you could also look there. I think she will ship to you separately and/or there was talk of meeting up with her and she would bring to the Homecoming for less shipping money if you wanted to go that route. I am having it shipped to my home.

Awwww Coach... I had my headphones in and just said "Awwww" really loud in the office haha.  I got some looks.  They didn't get it.  But I do!!!  That's so sweet!  ^_____^ <3 

Yes it's a big ole 12 degrees here today, and my gas heater is broken.  It's aobut 50 degrees in my house.  Good thing we have lots of blankets.  And when I woke up today I should have been miserable to get out of bed.  But the whole morning I just thought about how much I will appreciate the warmth of that homecoming hug!!!!  Then again I got so excited I've just been smiling all day.    (While also freaking out about some paperwork nonsense I have going on).   I'm so weird...

You all have me really pumped up about all of this dancing!  Everybody stay warm and those who already warm well...  haha you just stay safe and stay happy.  Yay Coach working out!  Working out = Endorphins = happiness   (I <3 Science ^.^).

Gaisey  Yes it is bad here in Atlanta people have been stuck overnight kids are on buses and have been all night  and some are camped out at school  because they couldn't get them home.  I hope you get your rain soon we will kept dancing   but if we get this again there will be no more dancing

Trish 6794: We are getting about the same here in OH. At least I am warm. Hopefuly your heating problems are better by now?

Gaisey: Feel bad for all your Southeners not used to this weather/snow/ice thing. I think we Northerners have it down pat by now this winter especially. You also do not have the means to cope with it like we do up here which makes the problem waaaay worse! So sorry to hear about Atlanta area especially! Wow! How frustrating!

No rain in Southern Calif. but we did have Fog.  heard the rain is going to stay north..Hope we get some snow pack up there too!

Yes Carol Ann the heat in my house is FIXED like just an hour ago.  Thank goodness.  I have a sore throat from breathing in the cold air all night :(  But I get to go home and not dread it today!!!  I don't have to dress like I'm outside INSIDE!!!  Hahah.  It's the little thanks in life.

Im in for a meet and rain dance! I have about 20 so cal Navy moms meeting march 1st at Toby Keiths bar and grill at victoria gardens in rancho cucamonga any one want to go let me know and I will give the times:) or just about any other time I would LOVE to meet you all:)

Ladies of Calif: So jealous you get to have a meet and greet and get to know one another a little better before the Homecoming and afterwards too! Enjoy and have a drink for me!

Trish: Glad you got your heat back. I cannot imagine going without in this cold!

We are supposed to heat up today and expected to have highs of almost 30 degrees! I will want to break out hthe shorts at that temp compared to the minus digits we have been experiencing here in OH for so long!

Sheryl: I bet if we could get sharoncede back to dancing with me we could really make it pour down there!  She's too busy doing those taxes right now though.

For those of you in the Atlanta area i feel so bad for you with the mess you have had the last few days. Hopefully that will all change FAST!

Carol Ann  it was a mess here in Atlanta but getting better thanks  I'm in my warm house and I'm staying there Glad you temps are going up we are at 31 now at 2:30 but tonight it is going to drop again   and calling for a winter mix next week  i hope they have it wrong 

pschip: The bad thing is you do NOT have the snow clearing capabilities we have up in the North. No brining before, salt, plows, etc like we do. And even then it cna be treacherous! Plus you tend to get more ice and sleet than we do too which only adds to the fun. Feel very sorry for you all and what you went through. The traffic jams, kids staying at schools overnight and stuck in school busses on the highway too! Sitting in cars for long hours! Wow! and Double Wow! I would stay put too if I were you!

Thanks Carol Ann  there are still cars just sitting where people ran out of gas or just left them and staring walking   It was sad all the kids in schools and on buses 

there was one lady she was stuck in her car all night she had a 2 yr old and a 6 month old  she got help after 12 hrs in her car the Tv reports gave her kids food and someone came with baby food and milk  it just breaks your heart to see that happen and you can't do anything about it 

pschip: So sad. That should never have happened! I heard the tail end of a news report on the radio today coming into the office saying something about holding the Mayor and the Governor accountable for this fiasco. If nothing else, maybe they will put an emergency plan of some sort into effect so that it never happens again!

Wow Sandra! I usually allow double the time when we have snow here in OH to get to work. Normally takes me 25-30 mins and I allow for an hour on snow/ice days. I thought that was bad!

Sandra: I said earlier that unfortunately you tend to get teh sleet and ice more than we do. If they pre-treated the roads with brine like up here that would probably at least help some. I think they need to get some salt and have that ready for this. Not sure what they did down there knowing this was coming beforehand, just hate to see what all happened as a result of the bad weather happen to you all.

I think just called the weather wrong  we were told that everything was going to be south of the city just a few flurries here but that didn't happen  and then when they dismissed schools at the same time everyone was leaving work and the interstate could not hold the volume   then the snow are ice on top of that it was just a mess the road were so packed with trucks are cars the salt and sand trucks could not get to where they could spread   a lot of schools are still closed tomorrow  which is a good thing 

Yippee! I hope everyone has a great day! I received a long email last night from my son, Happy Dancing...happy dancing! I was numb for hours after reading it.. Everything you pray for: their safety, health and happiness was in that email! My heart is so swelled with pride! He's doing awesome!   Stay warm and safe everyone!
