Hi everybody, I haven't been here in a while been busy planning road trip and parties; I live with my mother who will celebrate her 101st birthday soon. (Yes that soon). Mom seems to have a special and very strong connection to quite a few Guardian Angels and she has a very long prayer list. When Mom goes to bed, she closes her door and then she says her rosary and novena prayers every night. She's 100 years old, so I check on her one more time while her light is on; usually she's playing cards and hasn't started her prayers yet. Last night I went in, her light was still on and for the first time in my life I heard my mother softly singing her rosary. I quietly left before I disturbed her. That sight of my mother singing, her eyes closed is a sight I will always remember and the feeling of peace and comfort will also be remembered. I don't know if that feeling means my sailor will be at her party, but I do know it means he and the ship are protected by the prayers and positive energies sent by all the mothers, grandmothers, spouses, siblings, family and friends. Brightest Blessings, fair winds and following seas to all our sailors.

Hey everyone! I was wondering if you guys knew how the first duty works? My husband has first duty during homecoming...Does that mean he can't get off the ship until the following day?

Yes i got my call also so happy.  Put i will kept on praying and thanking God still they are all home safe and sound.

March 7th, was my Mother 1st anniversary since she pass-on to the other side.  I miss her everyday, we were very tight, I'm name after her, Carrie.  :)  She would always tell me, I keep her going-- that I was her comedian child, you are too funny girl and all three of your kids act just like you!!  Ya'll got Jokes!!!  Thank you Linda for putting a smile on my face today!  Peace & Love

My N4M's & Truman's Group.....Homecoming!!!  Homecoming!!! I'm sooo HAPPY for our Sailor's and the whole Families including ya'll!!!  My daughter and I thought so early this morning when we receive our email from Truman FRG Com.  It was in all CAP (IS)!!!

Well, I've been still tacking the big house throwing stuff out!!  Today, I just started shredding things from my File cabins, I was amaze at how much documents I was still holding on too!!  These kids (I gave them each their own folders) have moved on, I still had some of their kindergarten papers & programs etc. and papers from when I first got in the govt. 1974!!!  lol  

Have a great week-end and keep sending-up Prayers for our Sailor's, All Military's and World Peace 24/7, 365 and don't stop when they return home.  Because, LIFE goes on, so we want the Prayers to continue, in advance for the days when we All are too Stress-out to Pray!!!    Peace & Love
