Good idea! The M&M's imprinted with pictures of boa's and margaritas! I remember you ordered those last Christmas... They are probably still under your Christmas tree that you are leaving up until your sailor comes home!!!

Not sure about the signs. Don't see why not though. I know last time they limited signs to 2'x2' in size. No balloons or streamers. I thought no chairs too. We stood for hours although they did have metal stadium stands set up-but they were too cold to sit on (it was Dec then).

Wishing there was a way to find out the actual homecoming date. I just started a new job. I can't plan or be sure I can be there unless I have accurate information. Does anyone know how I can find more details than "they're coming home"?
Thanks, I will. haven't heard from him with a DEFINITE as to when he will be home but it should be very SOON! Hoping what he originally told me in code is so. He may just show up one day. He did that to me once in the middle of the night-arrived home on leave 2 days before he said he was going to be home. I heard something and got up out of bed and noticed the guest bedroom door was shut. I walked down the hall and looked out window and there was his truck parked in my driveway! I was so excited and really had to refrain from opening that door! It was 3am and I knew he had driven 12-13 hours home straight and that he was worn out so i let him sleep. The next day I had to wait hours for him to wake up and it about killed me! THAT would be nice again to be surprised like that! I will definitely thank him Cindy! You ALL thank your sailor sons and daughters when they get into port and home on their leaves from me!
TGIF! One more day closer to hugging our Sailors!
Spent my lunch break yesterday chatting on Facebook with my sailor, best break ever! Always good to hear from her!

For all the days we have been through, I have looked to you all for laughter, support, and shared tears. This has been one of the longest, toughest times I have ever been through. I could not have made it this far without each and every mom, grandma, dad and any other supporter in this special group everyday all day in this, the best group I ever reached out to. Thank you N4M's. Love you and blessings to everyone and their sailors. We all owe the sailors a debt of gratitude and humble admiration. They've tired and so have we many times but pushed through like a slight gail of wind in our sails nudging us closer each day til we all meet again. .I don't post much but all the cabana boys, beach parties, M & M's and margaritas have put a smile to my face. I carry you with me in my heart, mind and soul.
Coach Sheila: Now we have the Rock out to lead our cabana boys-lets get this party started! I am making a mental note to myself that I am gonna have to see THAT movie! lol
Julie01: You reduced me to tears with what all you said. So sweet! I think this has been a great group of ladies and am kinda sad that my time with you will be coming to an end soon and the next chapter of my son's life moving on--college bound in the Fall. This time at least I will be able to see him more than I have the last 6 years-thank goodness!
Sharoncede: Ahhh Sharon, I am going to miss you and several others--I am passing my torch on to you! Sherryl: My son will be getting out officially in June this year after 6 years of service to the navy and our country. This is his last deployment. Actually sooner as he has about a month's worth of leave before then. About 2-3 wks after the Truman returns he will be coming home for good! I will miss you too Sherryl!

I have never met such a Super Strong well boned Sisterhood has N4M's and USS Harry S. Truman Group!!! We hadn't never met, but GOD put all of us together for a Great reason!!! We girls talk, cried, laugh, prayed heavy, rock and held each other up, joke, shared, sooo much LOVE, care, agreed to disagreed but still caring and staying Focus!!!! "We held it down Girls!!!! Because we all was in this together for the long haul, to up-hold our Kids the Sailor's/Truman's entire Fleet Strenght, Support and they Safety!!!
I think its say a lot about who our Sailor's are, and were they came from, that's why they ALL was so Successful on there 2014 Deployment!!! They came from Some Strong NAVY "Momma's/Grandma's", Dad's/Grandpa's, Aunties/Uncles, Wives/Husbands, Sibling and Friends!!!

So I guess all of us Calif. moms have been dancing so much that the ground decided to dance with us! We had a 5.1 earthquake last night, told my hubby that the earth is happy dancing with us too. LOL

Hey Everybody! I just want to give my thanks for all of you wonderful mom's who managed to stay uplifted, and certainly helped lift my spirits during my son's deployment. I won't be there for the homecoming, but I hope it's a Grand One!!! My son will be coming this way on his 13 day break right after deployment. That's when I get to see him. So Excited!!! I am thinking of having a Welcome Home Banner made for him. Was wondering what your thoughts on that are? Good, or not so good? I am thinking of putting it on the main street as you drive into our neighborhood. Thoughts, anyone?

Hi ladies and gentlemen. Just wanted to say this is an awesome site. I don't post but I read everyone's post each morning and evening. Thank you áll for your words of wisdom, your words and signs of inspiration and who can forget the cabana boys. Woohoo. It has helped me get through this deployment. This is my youngest and he joined the Navy 2 years after my husband passed away and my oldest lives in San Diego, he is ex Navy. I will be driving down with my BF, who is his godmother from Phila to homecoming. I have asked my son to send the email to get my name or my DIL's on the list to get info for homecoming but he hasn't. Can I message someone my email address for any information about homecoming. Plus I would like to try to get to the event the night before. My DIL lives in Va Beach but doesn't seem worried about getting info for homecoming. My son did put in our names to get on base though. Thanks to you all and god bless.
