Good morning, afternoon or evening....Dear most gracious GOD, I thank you for another day, that full of life with plenty of sunshine and the sweet smell of flowers blossom.  Lord, I'm not asking you for anything special today, but to allow me to live this day to the fullest I can!   Just let me enjoy everything that's coming with it good and if something happen that's out of my control; just give your child the strength to endure it, unto it pass me by!   Thank you God, in the name of Jesus I pray--- Amen

coach sheila- we we're just talking in church this morning about how we take for granted the very breath that we are granted each day and even just the day itself. we come to expect it yet we were not promised one day. So wonderful to read your inspirational verse this morning. It is my life in many ways and it is not lacking. It's one's perspective. thanks for sharing that, it's awesome.

Guess what?  Today is my sailor son 24th Birthday, I received several emails from him during the night!  Also, he did a surprise call to me today, I was in here screaming and acting a fool, All Up In Here!!!  Like y'all gals are going to be acting when y'all see your honey buns Sailor's soon!

I'm going to share this part of our conversation, so ALL of my Sisters can celebrate (acting a fool, rejoicing) with my sailor and me:  "Baby did you see your Timeline on Facebook, Mama sang you a birthday song?"  No, not yet, our internet be shut down when we're on Duty. (Deep manly voice)

Well, I hope today is still your Birthday, because it's daytime here and it night time where you are.  "No, Mother it's daytime where we're at."  Son, its (time blank for security)!  He say his time (blank for security)!  I told him screaming-- you are only 2 hrs. in front of us!  He says, Mother, what's wrong-- you are breaking up!  Mom, Mom are you there?  "What did you just say (he's sooooo excited)," I repeated it to him again!  He repeat his time again and said: Mom for reaaaal, you are not playing with me are you?  I told him NO!  Baby, y'all are home in the United States!!!   We both are screaming--- out loud now (acting a fool), he was soooo excited he forgot he was on the ship. He said:  Mother, this is the best Birthday ever, and I got to get off this phone nooooow!  (deep manly voice gone, he broke down in tears of Joy, hell now-- I can't understand him)  He forgot to tell me bye, (lol) he was so overwhelm with joy and excitement!!! 

I wasn't able to be there for the special events, but this was GOD's, way of reuniting and blessing my sailor son and I on his 24th Birthday, that he and I, will never ever forget for years to come!   So, I'm thanking all of y'all for coming to "the party" and rehearsing with my sailor son and I on this bless and special day, we shared acting a fool on his birthday-- which was a gift from GOD almighty!   Hallelujah!  Thank you GOD in the name of Jesus for this!!  I'm real ecstatic with JOY! 

Sisters, each of your day is coming!!!!  I love all of my Sister!  Keep those Prayers going extra higher now!!!   Get ready, get ready, get ready Families!!!

Having a hard time concentrating at work today. All I can think of is getting to Norfolk! Can you just imagine the atmosphere on the ship?

Could it be Friday already!!!  I am a bit envious of some of the Moms on here that have gotten calls from their sailors in the past couple of days.  My sailor is on the night shift and hasn't been able to call.  I am so excited to see her and am like all of you in the I can't concentrate at work, so Could It Be Friday Already!!  he, he!

ladies I love all of you messages etc.  I soooooooo excited to see my son come off that ship that I can not sleep. we leave Thursday morning.  I hope too see all of you ladies Thursday night  

Ladies (and gentlemen): Hearing your excitement is music to my ears! I am excited for you all! Love hearing all your plans. So very SOON! I am still enjoying my son being home on leave. He came back about 15 lbs. lighter and I am working on fattening him up a bit. He has done a whole lot of sleeping. Just to let you know yours probably will too. We had a very good weekend. Went fishing all day on Saturday and he caught a huge catfish which we have cleaned and put in the freezer to make when he gets out for good. Cooked out. yesterday I made the Easter meal a week early for him cuz he won't be home for that, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He has been visiting colleges-going to OSU today and hitting up Pittsburgh on way back in a couple of days. Then will make his decision. Went to Bowling Green last Thursday. WE are planning on having a big party for him when he is officially out to celebrate! Have fun ladies! This is the experience of a lifetime!

at PIR our division (the mom's that were here on NFM'S) all wore green scarves so we could identify eachother. It really did work too! I met many mom's that I'd not have been able to meet otherwise. Maybe that yellow scarf or ribbon theme will work. It's late notice but maybe even grab a roll of  yellow streamers or ribbon or something you could put on or around your neck. My heart is breaking to not be present. Our son is a nuke, gets of hours after it pulls in and has no real liberty as he immediately travels back base is SC. He'll get his time 2 weeks later though. Next time for sure.

Well, I finally went to sleep almost 10 am this morning from yesterday, I was on a spiritual/naturally high from talking to my sailor on yesterday.  I've been awake for about couple hours now.  That's why you didn't see the morning prayer to jump start your day with positive energy and thoughts.

I'm so excited for those that are going and the ones staying behind such has myself, our spirits and prayers are with everyone, stay SAFE, prayed up and keep those prayers going up high to GOD and carrying him with you everyday!  GOD Bless, all of our Sailor's and their Families.  Peace & Love

Hello fellow Navymoms, I read, but rarely post.  My daughter is coming off of the ship with no family to meet her.  It didn't work out for her cousin to be there & I can't afford the trip from california.  So sad.  Her birthday is tomorrow.  Good news is that she is flying home the following day and we will meet her at the airport with welcome home signs and big hugs.  We will celebrate her birthday, home coming & the holiday all three.  I can't wait.  I will check out the livestream.  Thanks for all of your posts especially Coach shiela and all of you spiritual uplifts.  God is great!

to tall Joan,  awww bless your sailor daughter heart, (she just want to row around in the grass)  remember when we were kids how great that felt to feel free rowing & rowing in the grass!  lol

Also, she's one of GOD humble child, she knows how to appreciate even the little things of life that GOD has sent our way to enjoy!
