That is very very strange that her division is only receiving mail on Mondays? Never have heard of that before. Is it possible that they have mail delivery each day, but her letters are only coming in on Mondays?
I did know that they can only write on Sundays and mail out Mondays, but some of them manage to write during the week under the "red lights' after lights out...it they aren't too exhausted which most are! :-) They will don't have those letters collected until Sunday and mailed Monday though.
Hmmm....that is the hard part. We hear it all of the time where families are writing everyday, yet SRs are not receiving everyday....RTC has its own mail facility and sometimes with so many letters (there are over 5,000 SRs at a time at RTC)...they can get held up there....they may get several in one day, none for a day or too!
Hi There Navy Moms, It has been so informative to read this forums. I am wondering if someone who knows the date of Battle Stations can add and message me that information. Thanks so much!!!

I was wondering the same thing but know it can't be posted for all to see. So if someone would also pm me, I would be very grateful! (13/82)

Hey coachjb12003: check out info in diannep's forum up above on Battlestations. I'm thinking BS for our PIR group won't begin until this Wed-Thurs, 1/21-22, with "I'm a Sailor" calls starting to come after 2 pm on various days for different divisions from then through Wed 1/28. Still hoping to hear by private message if anyone has heard when BS is for div. 078! Thanks!
No, sorry, sarona mom. It won't be then (BattleStations). Lately, just since the beginning of the new year, they haven't been starting them until PIR week. Even with the large PIR groups like this one. I went back and looked at my BattleStations schedules from early 2014 and they did the same thing then, and after a while, went back to starting them the week before PIR week. Not sure why....but thinking that all 12 divisions here will go during PIR week.
This group can do them over 3 nights (12 hr overnight drill).....they can do up to 4 divisions a night. Brother divisions go together....and actually the 800 and 900 division can go the same night.
Just a reminder that we cannot post actual division BattleStations dates on here. It is fine to "guess" when they will be, but if you know a specific one courtesy of your SR, please just post that you have a BattleStations date for Div ___ and let others friend request/message you for it.
coachjb: You are counting BOOTCAMP weeks, not TRAINING weeks. This PIR group should be in Training Week 5, and some divisions just finished it. So everyone will eventually be in Training Week 6 sometime during next week. They do BattleStations during the 7th week.....
coachjb12003 - My son is also in Division 084. According to the last time we spoke, January 13 was week 4, day 1. I received a letter this past Thursday and he said next week is both firefighting and gas chamber. I am not sure how but it seems like they are possibly starting and completing week 5 and part of week 6 this coming week.
I revived a letter yesterday post marked the 12th and my SR said she was going into her 6th week there is 1 week and 6 days left so this coming week has to be the 7 th week you have to look at the post mark
You are correct, lax. Training week 5 completion for some at the beginning of next week, others by mid-week. The first to go through BattleStations should be on Training Week 6/Day 5 by Monday of PIR week.
Renee: Having a hard time sending message from here now, computer not cooperating! We are friends already, so can you message me the Battlestations date you have? Thanks!
Thanks both you guys I got a call from my SR and she informed me that this is their finals week for 084 she stated in a couple of days they were going through their finals which she meant BS
A navy mom, in a letter that I received from my son he listed what they would be doing day to day thru this month (of course things can/ do change), as he is "...in charge of the white board and know what we are doing day to day now.", he says the second PFA was on the 12th and the final PFA ( the one thy have to pass) is on the 23rd. I hope this is what you were asking.
Well they only have a week and. 12 days left and that's counting week ends and My SR said they let them have their last week to prepare for PIR so this week is the week
