Remember brother divisions do their training together...it could be the next day or even the day after. Usually 4 divisions go through Battlestations together~~
mlsshp: Sorry, but we cannot disclose BattleStations dates on this site or FB. Only by private message (RTC asked us not to). Can you copy/paste your post and just delete that exact date for your division? Then delete your original post. Thanks so much!
BattleStations can have 2 divisions (brother divisions), 3 divisions (900 or 800 division, set of brother divisions), or 4 divisions (2 sets of brother divisions or one set and 800/900 divisions) go through. With a PIR group this large and not starting until PIR week (sometimes they start the week before), they will need to go with 4 per night to get them done. My guess is that they will do them M-W nights....based on what previous groups have done.
Got a letter yesterday and here's what she said. Week 6 is final PFA and Battlestations on *(OPSEC). We stay up for 12 hours the day before, then afterwards, we get a huge meal and can talk inthe galley! So since they graduate 6-3 that means final PFA is sometime week 6 *(OPSEC). She is ship 3 div 83 if that helps.
On of our SR's best friends just asked if he could come to PIR. Do any of you know if it is too late to add a guest to the list? And if it's not, what is the protocol for adding a guest at this late date?
Got a letter today. My SR says that his division (81) has managed to get not one, but two flags. One for scoring high enough with drill and the other one is the independent steamer pennant which allows them to march without their RDC. Although he says he doesn't see that happening anytime soon.
Missy, it may be too late. They normally update their lists a week before PIR. Not sure when you will get the I'm a Sailor call, but you may want to ask your new sailor then if the list can be added to. It would be worth a try! Sadly, it doesn't matter that he is retired military....they still have to be on the list. A couple of years ago or so, that was not the case. Retired/Active Duty military with ID were allowed in as extras, but not anymore. Now they must be on the list.
I sure hope it works out for this person to attend!
Thank you! Blizzard predicted for Monday into Tuesday - that would be ok leaving Thursday for graduation - summarized all my paperwork today to put in one envelope in my pocketbook - can't believe graduation is on Friday and how far we all have come! When I hear of loved ones receiving the box and form letter. Wow that was us once!
Wow got an early call thought something was wrong but my SR was just confirming her list and gave me Battle Station date for 084 she was still excited about their winning the Trophy I am happy for her
coachjb: By the time they start BattleStations which they start at night, they will have been up for about 14 or more hours already, since the early morning. They won't be able to "hit their racks" until the next day, at about 8 pm. SO by that time, they are quite tired....but very proud sailors!
I continue to obsess about my SR's last PFA today. We are going to Chicago regardless but I still worry about him. He was still on LLD Saturday from the corpsman giving the bicillin shot in his sciatic nerve.
Does anyone have an idea when he call if he didn't pass? Today? Tomorrow? Wednesday? Any of those days?
As soon as a Recruit is not on schedule to graduate, meaning they have failed to meet all the requirements, they should be given a call home.
I won't lie, there have been times when some have said they never got that call from their Recruit. It is rare but does happen. I think it happens because RTC is just trying to get them back on track to graduate so it's a time factor.
If a Recruit has a change in status it is their choice as to who they notify.

They DO go in order of division for final PFAs and BattleStations.
