    I sure know about hurry up and wait...mine has been out of school 10 months and has not been to sea as yet, he calls himself a glorified janitor. Although he keeps his mind busy, old movies, video games, and lots of books (usually 2 or 3 at one time); he would rather be doing what he was trained to do. Continue to encourage and in the Navy's time all things will come to pass.
