Make it in time??? Oh no! I was surprised to see they have graduation on a Friday (I'm new to all of this), I thought for sure it would be on a Saturday. Fortunately (well, and unfortunately) I don't have any conflicts with the schedule right now. I hope everything works out for ya. Will you be flying or driving?
  • Jess's Mom (Fire Controlman GL)

I just checked my mail and still no letter. I hope it comes Monday or her recruiter calls me back so I can start searching for flights, reserve a hotel room, and send off the many letters I have written.

Heya grumsmom friend me for Navy for Moms, I am yust figuring this stuff out...even though my girl Tiffany, says that, I am not foolin her...bout the technophobe stuff. "Mom, you were in the Navy for x10 yrs., I know that you are very pc savy."YA, the Navy didn't believe me when I played that tune for them either. Ok, so the Navy has all the nice toys to play with, don't ya know! YUST TRIXY

I have a facebook page...I set it up or started it. I have been x1 maybe x2. YOU & I, we have to work on this. Oh boy, another password, YIKES. Hey did I tell you Tiffany has VIKING ancestors? With relatives like that, seems like the U.S.NAVY is a good fit, good place for her. Ya, she should probably tweek that one yust a little, enso. I HOPE SHE IS REACHING DOWN GETTING SOME OF THAT VIKING STUFF OUT FOR THIS BOOT CAMP STUFF. Some would call it inner strength. Muster up your COURAGE BOOTS, I've been there, you will be better for this experience. Soon it will be, but a memory, and u will be underway in the REAL U.S.Navy. GOOD STUFF AHEAD ...GREAT ADVENTURES.

GOOD GRIEF, I AM WORKING ON THE FACE FOR THIS SITE. You know, a picture. Hmmm...I YUST DON'T KNOW.
  • Trixy

HEYA, grumsmom, sweetie, you did know they can't ph. hm. or write till week 3, someone correct me if I AM WRONG ON THIS ONE. Seems like that is an old standard practice in place at boot camp. They need to FOCUS & keep it on the goal. That is JOB ONE, right now, at this space in time & boot camp. Oh, don't you worry it will all come together. you will see...trust me. YUST PRAY, WORKS BETTER THAN WORRYING. Really, it does. YUST TRIXY.

Heya girlfriend, I yust got a call from my U.S.Navy Daughter. she was terribly homesick, but otherwise fair to midland. The homesick that, I understand, it's boot camp, most of the time, not so much fun. Yust alot of head games. They shake you down & turn you all around, to see what you got, & what they can do with it...to put a positive spin on it. It all turns out good. She has been there x2 wks...she said she was headed into her 3rd week. She was uneasy about the immunization gun, she had to sit down for a min, that's ok. I have seen some pretty big guys yust about pass out, in the face of getting a shot. the nurse was a little _itchypoo. Pity that, I am a nurse, I am feeling for those young boots. She wanted to know that, nothing had changed here...no yust like you left it. Still here, all is well. Not to worry chickadee. They give everything you thought you were sure of, a pretty good shake. Of course it is on purpose, with intention & a specific reasons. All psycho-logically engineered, & all that garbage'. It's all good, it works crazy-good, you could say. Aw, the little buger, she misses me.you yust gotta luv that, & I do! Girl children are hardwired to love their daddys, the moms, they can stretch out the mom nerve yust a hair or two more. They made her cry, they try real hard to make everyone they can cry. It is part of the shakedown routine. Sure, they made me cry too. Now, they will put it all back in good order, add a pinch of this & that, tweak it a little...then build it all back up again..or something like that. Ouila, THE U.S.Navy 's FINEST.

Hello I'm Carrie I think our sons left out together from Little Rock. My son is on ship 4 div 812. We are from Hackett.

Hi, yes, I'm doing fine. Just overwhelmed with everything. I've been just reading the posts, mostly. I received a letter from Jason last week. Did you hear from yours yet? If you didn't, remember they have them doing all sorts of things, and I'm sure they are exhausted. Some may get more free time while others have to catch up on things. I remember that from when my oldest was in bc. I've been enjoying reading Jen's posts with the other girl. They are both girlfriends. lol And I think it's sweet.

It's just funny how life is, and how it changes. And I guess I'm just thinking about it all. I still have my 16 year old daughter home, but before you know it, she'll be away at college. Listen to me, who's rushing things? Anyway, I'm gonig to try to make plans for the flight and hotel.
Have you figured out how you are going to get to the graduation? Are you going to maybe fly? Let me know.
