Thanks ShelbyCoreena,
My son's on the Kentucky Gold crew as an ST here in Bangor. He'll be leaving on his first patrol in a couple of weeks. It's great having him close, but he regrets not asking for a different home port so he could see more of the country. It's early but he expects to re-enlist, and I'd be surprised if he didn't ask for a fast attack. I just hope it'll be in either San Diego or Hawaii, so it'll be cheaper to visit than the east coast.
Thanks for your note. My son wanted to be on a submarine but the navy had a different idea. He will be going on his second deployment for 8 months soon.
Just to let you know, I've had to turn on the AC this week-end. The humidity is back!!
Thank you for the friend request. I have not resolve some minor difficulty with my N4M "addressbook" – which has been acting up lately. When I select a friend to send a message, the person I checked is not always the person who receives the message. Typically, private messages are use for communicating issues that are more personal in nature, so for now I am not adding any friends. You find me on a daily basis in the New Moms Stop Here group . Please join if you haven’t and we talk there. BunkerBee
