Hi, thanks for adding me as a friend. My son is a CTN and was planning on making the Navy a career. But, he is now finding that might not be possible. The command he is now at has become a hostile working environment. Not the people he is working with but the Navy. They are denying guys medical extensions for their PRTs when they are injured, they are rigging eliptical machines so guys fail the tests and have told them outright that they need to reduce the number of POs & Chiefs. I spent some time with him and others last week and he now believes that he needs to look into a civilian career. My off site e-mail is lindalove@zoominternet.net. It might be better if we talked there.

    Stacy,
My name is Craig Maroney, CTM1(SW) retired. I went to togetherweserved.com to see if we knew the same people and beleive it on not, only 1 person I knew from Harley's list, Randy Price (CTO). I was stationed with him at COMSUBGRU 10 in KingsBay Georgia. Did you know a CTM named Jerry Lampani from DC when you were stationed there?
My son is a CTN2 stationed in Kunia. He's got about 1 year left, but I think he wants to retour, I think he will stay.
I actually run two Navy website (NavyFamilies.com and NavyDep.com). I actually come to N4M every so often to help these people understand the CTN rating. It's funny seeing some thinks these guys ask. but I get these same type questions on my sites too.... Anyway, there you go... Now you know who Craig is....-ha
