I am a new Navy mom. I work full time at Hunterdon Medical Center as an Outpatient Accounts Representative (medical billing). I also have several hobbies (Working out at the gym, reading and I build wooden doll houses. I also love interior decorating.

I really don't have any experience of the Navy but my father-in-law was drafted into the navy years ago and my son always wanted to join to be like his grandfather and to serve his country. I am very proud of him.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

    Thanks for asking, the knee is doing great. Got the "I'm a Sailor" call today, very exciting. We talked for 30 minutes. He sounded so grown up. Can't believe that's the same boy I sent to BC on June 7th! Can't wait for PIR next Friday!

    Here's to a speedy recovery! I can't believe that just 1 week after surgery I'm doing so well. Stitches come out on Monday and that will make a big difference. Take care of yourself!
