All we know is what was relayed in one letter and a couple of phone calls. I'm not sure if it is two separate incidents or not. One report was one SR ran away in the middle of the night, and one kid was separated for punching someone else in the face. The next report was it was two SRs, and they beat up the SR on security that night pretty bad. It could be all related, or it could be two different instances. We also had what I coined the "cookie bandit". A SR snuck a cookie back to his rack, left the wrapper out and when the RDC found it he blamed his bunkmate for it. Apparently the RDCs are making the other SRs determine whether or not to let cookie bandit stay, or separate him. It's all so confusing! But with a lot of research I've found out since we haven't gotten a call from our kids saying they were at Ship 5, then they weren't involved. Crazy, huh? At least it weeds out the bad seeds so maybe they can all start focusing & working as a team.

Hi Melissa! You are getting ready for the countdown! Do you know when his BS21 is? Can I light a candle for you?

My 4 year old said that cutest thing yesterday. He was standing in his super hero pose on the couch and he said, "I'm the navy guy. And I save the princesses from the dragon!" Apparently that was the only rescue scenario he could think of!

You're off to PIR this week! I can't believe it. Has your son done BS yet?
