Entering my 3rd year as a Navy Mom. My daughter has just left port for her 1st "at sea" duty. So far, she is liking it. We are now "empty nesters".

    Mollie, Kelcies Mom, sorry did not get back with you. Always look at the group thread (USS GW) and don't always look at my page, connect to the thread thru my email. Hope Kelcie is doing well. Heard from Ant before last port stop but have not heard from him since. Keep hoping to get an email. I was just trying to get a heads up on where the last port stop was going to be. Just waiting now, hoping he will send me an email. I so appreciate having the NavMoms for support.

    Mollie, I think u r right, the girls just seem to keep in touch better. I am so thankful, though, to hear info or updates that the NavMoms receive. That makes me feel like at least I am in touch w/what is going on in general in my son's life. It is so helpful to hear the updates from others. I had hoped he would call at last port but did not happen. But I know I will get that line or two before too long. I am trying to make an effort to look at my page better.
