Iris, as far as your brother-in-law going - they give 4 names and those four are allowed into the hall along with everyone else who has been listed by recruits first. Then once those are all in, they open the hall and anyone else can come in as long as there is room. My friend told me that 14 divisions graduated and she said their extras had room to come in. A lot of kids will not have anyone go to graduation. My sister's in-laws did not go to graduation because they couldn't afford flights and hotel so they waited and went to Pensacola to see him there. We appear to only have 10 divisions so my niece is going with us because she was close to her cousin.

Iris, what do you mean by your last comment "living vicariously through us and wanting details..."? I'm just confused!
  • teaparty24-ship9div302

Gotcha! I was lost trying to make sense between what you said and all the other comments and didn't make the connection!
I'll skip White Castle! I'm thinking my recruit is going to want a big, juicy steak!
I totally believe in the lots of fruits and vegetables diet for better health - I've seen it really work in cancer patients, too! I'm praying for you!

    Love the photos!

I removed our threads that had the conversation with our kids names in it.

No letter...I think your pics are okay as long as you manage your page and have your photos set to only be seen by your friends. I just went out and made sure my setting was correct.

Just wanted to let you know, Iris. I heard back from Carolyn Rodgers, the girl whose address you gave me. What a treat! She wrote a nice long letter. Seems like a really nice girl. She asked me to write again, so I just mailed a letter today. Thanks so much for sharing her address with me! I need to go on the other PIR groups to remind them to share the "no mail" addresses with us so we can write.

Yippee! I'm so excited for you all because I know what awaits you! It is fantastic! Are you going to PIR?
