Of particular importance is the use of the “Search” function. You should do searches in blogs, forums, discussions for answers in previously posted threads BEFORE adding a NEW blog/discussion. Finally, it takes time to learn how to use this site. Be patient. Check your page & status box often. Best of luck, BunkerBee and AbbyblueOK (from the New Moms Stop Here Group)
Iris, as far as your brother-in-law going - they give 4 names and those four are allowed into the hall along with everyone else who has been listed by recruits first. Then once those are all in, they open the hall and anyone else can come in as long as there is room. My friend told me that 14 divisions graduated and she said their extras had room to come in. A lot of kids will not have anyone go to graduation. My sister's in-laws did not go to graduation because they couldn't afford flights and hotel so they waited and went to Pensacola to see him there. We appear to only have 10 divisions so my niece is going with us because she was close to her cousin.
Gotcha! I was lost trying to make sense between what you said and all the other comments and didn't make the connection!
I'll skip White Castle! I'm thinking my recruit is going to want a big, juicy steak!
I totally believe in the lots of fruits and vegetables diet for better health - I've seen it really work in cancer patients, too! I'm praying for you!
No letter...I think your pics are okay as long as you manage your page and have your photos set to only be seen by your friends. I just went out and made sure my setting was correct.
hello, i wanted to tell you that that we had prayer for you at church. Gods going to touch you. you know my daughter and son in law lived in Portland, OR. when they got sick they lived there for 7 years.we went and got her and brought her home in 2000 they love it there. its beauitful there have a bless day
You know, it was so much harder when my daughter was in...I don't know if it's because she went through first, becasue she is a young woman or WHAT!!!??? I miss the MESS outtah my son, but my worry level is so much lower...It's really hard though Momma! Hang in there we are almost there!!!
Just wanted to let you know, Iris. I heard back from Carolyn Rodgers, the girl whose address you gave me. What a treat! She wrote a nice long letter. Seems like a really nice girl. She asked me to write again, so I just mailed a letter today. Thanks so much for sharing her address with me! I need to go on the other PIR groups to remind them to share the "no mail" addresses with us so we can write.
Both Danielle and I looked all over the place for you and never got a chance to see you! After liberty call, it was wild! Just know that I was thinking of you and loooking for you because I would have loved to meet you and given a hug!
