As a new member, you will have many questions. Join the New Moms Stop Here group immediately. For new members, this group will be your safe haven - we will support you through those tough weeks before, during and after boot camp. We have members with various experiences and skills available to help you. In case you have two bogus profiles, namely Kayleigh Hall and/or Gloria Lopez. as a friend, remove them ASAP by clicking on their lovely photos and click Remove. They are email-address harvesting. NOTE: this is not an auto-generated message. You are getting this message from a real live Navy mom. Bea (son a nuke on a sub).
My son Chris has been the Navy for approx 2-1/2 years and just came home from deployment in Africa. He is now stationed on an air base in Jacksonville FL and is already talking of resigning! We are so very proud of him

Hello - Lisa......Thanks for the request. I just found this site, the other day. I love it!!!!!!!!!! I'm assuming you're talking about the proud parent pic? If so, right click on it, "save picture as" You have it saved to your computer :) Hope this helps. If you have any problems, let me know.
WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!! I see you're a quick learner :)
You're welcome very much!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm always making Navy graphics n such. I'll post more. :)
Yes, you gotta love kids..........silly boy
I see you have gotten adjusted and you have joined the New Moms Stop Here group. You don't need to have friends to get information from this site. Just relax. I have been "mentoring" many new members and above a certain number, I won't be effective; therefore, I am “graduating” a few of you who appear to be well-adjusted and have learned the ropes. In the Forum, on “How to Do Stuff On N4M” I have posted a number of topics which will help you navigate this site. I am not far away. If you need me, you’ll find me on a daily basis in the SF Bay Area Navy Families group (click on link). That is my “home” group where I am the creator/admin. Best of luck to you and your sailor. Regards, BunkerBee.
Not a problem, at all :) I'll be sending it, to you, tonight.
I had this up, on one of the groups, but was told I wasn't able to do that. I knew there wasn't any last names, didn't know about no first names. They were really polite about it :) I just thought a lot of Navy Moms, girlfriends, spouses, ect..... would want one......whether to put it on their page and/or send it to their love ones.
I can put a different name. If he goes by "Chris" it probably would look better. It's not a problem, either way
I think my computer must have had a glitch because I thought I read something about my threading your sewing machine. Please tell me you're kidding? If you need help I'm sure I can help without shipping being involved. LOL
Hi Lisa, Thank you for your nice message! We just got home from taking Kevin to Portland where he'll stay the night & fly out tomorrow to GL. It was a long ride home after leaving him. We are so very proud of him & look forward to that quick phone call home in the next couple days!
Hi Lisa! So you are know a resident of beautiful NH! We moved from there just over 9 years ago and returned to MA where our aging parents are. I suppose it was a good decision, but I do miss the town we lived in: Pelham, right on the NH/MA border. It was just far enough to feel we had some space. Now my Dad is dying from pancreatic cancer so it is very good to be close to him. Sometimes it is awfully hard because I have 6 siblings and everyone's feelings of grief over his impending death are raw. But it is nice to meet you. It may be a packing party of 5 - all new. I haven't been able to reach the usuals yet. Probably busy with back to school/end of the summer. I'll let you. But tell me about your sailor son...
