Awesome! I haven't come across like ANY div261 on here. Have you heard from him???
  • Jana

    Hey!
  • Sam (AUX PAC - Groton, CT)

Yeah, I finalllly got one yesterday! (He is my fiance) He said they're division doesn't listen well, so they're being worked really hard, and he's super tired and sore. But I think he is alright! lol. He also heard rumors of their division being a "grad & go", I hope not, but I can't wait 'til they're done! Best wishes to you & your brother :) :)

Yeah, I'm going to graduation. I got my tickets and all done & out of the way :). I bet they're doing great. I know what you mean about the Grad & Go, whatever happens, happens. It's just kind of a bummer because we're expecting our baby boy to be born in October, so while he's in school, I'll be late in my pregnancy. I don't know. I'm sure everything will work out though
No, I didn't get a phone call.. But then again, I'm out of town, and I don't have a cell phone at the moment. Did you receive a call??
  • Sam (AUX PAC - Groton, CT)

When I was out of town this past week - he called. I'm so sad I missed it. But it's already July! A little more than a month, and they'll be done with this part! I hope that is true, and he can call Sunday. I'd be soo so thrilled! Thanks for updates :)

I did get a call on Wednesday, June 30 and I was like a kid at Christmas! His letters came the very next day too! :)
  • Mikesmom22

Just 11 days to go! I am praying they are successful on Thursday night! His call last week and the letters since then make him feel so close and still so far away. He keeps saying he is ready to graduate! He said he thinks they're all a little on edge because they're almost done. I just keep telling him to work together and operate as a team so they can make it through BS21! I am ready to see my son! How are you holding up?
  • Sam (AUX PAC - Groton, CT)

It was AMAZING! Did you have a good time too? I knew that was you when I saw you - Lol! How cool :D
  • Sam (AUX PAC - Groton, CT)

Oh my gosh, I wish it was longer too!! I'm trying my hardest to figure out a way to his school now (Groton, CT) and we're sort of in a rush because I'm getting late in my pregnancy and I won't be able to fly soon!!
My sailor left Saturday as well (Grad & Go), at like 6 am - our family met him at the airport for the last time. (That was another hard goodbye!) But I was able to give him his cell phone. So we talk all the time now!

How did it go with Chad? :)
  • Sam (AUX PAC - Groton, CT)

Awh - what a wonderful sister you are! I'm glad everything is working out good. My Sailor seems to be enjoying his school right now too (well, I image it's a little better than bootcamp - haha!). Best wishes for you all
