Hi "JOJ," and welcome to Indiana Moms! I'm the administrator for the group, so if you have any questions, please ask. My son is a Nuke MM serving on the submarine USS ALABAMA, based out of Bangor, WA. He's been in for 4 years.

If you're near Indy (or willling to drive), there's a monthly informal dinner in Avon (on the west side) which meets on third Mondays. Click Sep 20 on the Events calendar (right-hand column) for those details. From time to time, we also have regional gatherings in various parts of the state.

Jump in with any questions or comments you may have. I think you'll find we're a nice bunch of folks and always willing to lend an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. Hugs! k.

joj, Welcome aboard N4Ms. There is a lot of support here and information too. I see you found some groups close to you. With BC ahead, the support will definitely help. My sailor was in for almost 4 years before I discovered N4Ms. Wish I had known about them in the beginning. Sure would have helped. Did you read OpSec and how to set your profile and so forth? Very good information. Blessings,

Hi, Welcome! Have you found the answer to your questions about carry -on bags? I doubt there is a limit (because they really didn't bring that much to GL) - or if they have to pay if they have papers to their next "duty station."
