A little about me:: I'm Megan and my boyfriend of two years left for basic training on September 3. His title is HM(FMF) He is unbelievably excited and I couldnt ask for anything more than for him to follow his dream! His PIR date is November 5!

hello Zane's Girly! Nice to see you here! My son is also HM so I'm guessing the two of them will be in A school together! At first they told my son he would be doing A school in San Antonio TX but then said Great Lakes so guess we will have to see!

Not going to lie..my daughter is married to a sailor ..he is in sub school for nuclear engineering..and it takes alot of committment on the spouse/gf's side but can be done..she is very happy and involved with other Navy wives on base because it can and will get lonely..sounds like you Love him very much! their is alot of perks to the Navy Life. and I have a feeling that your bf and my son are not having much fun right now in bc..lol. i am the same way, i also look at it like everyday i dont hear from him is still a day closer to seeing him. but im doing okay, Kendra is keeping me busy. ,but ive been a little bummed this weekend because i stayed at my mother in laws. so that was really hard.
