I am the mother of a Navy recruit (ship 11 div 370.) We live in Texas where my husband is the pastor of a Baptist church in Waller, Tx. I also have a daughter who is in beauty school. I would really love to meet some moms who's son will be graduating with my son.
I am here to support my

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?

When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
I know that my son will benefit from being in the Navy. We are very proud of him for wanting to serve his country. My prayer is that God will strenghthen him and give him courage to face whatever obstacles come his way. I know God will do a great work in him.

Awwww i love the new pics ;) I figured out how to make my own countdown clock thing but cant figure out how to put it on my profile thing! gahh! maybe you could ask that lady since shes making you a pro at this lol
Please let me know if you have any questions, I may not have an answer, but will try to get you one. My son was separated from 369 on the 13th of October and has been home a little over over a week now. He was they only one so far.
However I am not new here, my daughter is in TX at A-school. I have been around the corner and back with her never ending BC!! lol.
Let me know. I am so sorry this has happened.
Also there is a Christian chat group and if you look on my page you find this.
The moms in there are awesome and can pray with you, for you and in general.
what I meant to say was the only one and hope to keep it that way!! We want all they guys to get through this. I have a few cute stories about your division actually. It seems as your sons div. and they div my son was in have identical twins in them, one in each. So some strange things have come out of that. lol
This would only be possible if he were doing A-school right there at GL. Then that is not always the case. I know when my son was still there, he was told he was a G&G. He would not actually know for a while about overnights.
Now if your son is going anyplace else for A-school, he could actually leave that night... possibly. This is also called G&G (Grad and Go) you would spend the day with them, get them back to the ship by the designated time, and somewhere around 2A they are moved to the Airport. You are most welcome to go there and stay with your Sailor until they get on the plane. Some do not leave until noon that Sat.
I hope this was a bit helpful. Is he doing his A-school right there?
