Tracy,
I just saw your posts on the WA/OR group page that you have a daughter in boot camp now. I want to welcome you to come join our Mothers of Daughters 2 group. We are a friendly, caring, supportive group of moms who are always willing to listen, share, and help if needed!! Feel free to jump in and join our chat - there is usually someone on every day and even if you just want to talk about your family, weather, job - whatever, we are there to listen and help you on this journey!!! Come brag about your sailor's accomplishments, but also feel free to vent, yell, whine, or complain when you miss her and don't know what is going on in her life. My daughter has been in for over two years now and is stationed in WA. I also have a son serving and another daughter is in an officer program still going to college. Here is the lnk to our group: http://www.navyformoms.com/group/momsofdaughters2 Again, Welcome Aboard!!!
My son's name is Tom. He is going to do subs and will go to Groton Conn right after PIR. He says the division had trouble several weeks ago pulling together but I think they are doing better.
