I have a son who is stationed at Norfolk, Va. I am so proud of him. I have a teenage daughter who is involved in everything under the sun. I have been a teacher for 21 years and love it. I have a wonderful husband who is just as proud of his children as I am. Go Navy
I am here to support my

When I heard “Navy,” I...
Needed to learn more about it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
They will take care of my son. Not baby him but take care of him.

PS--Do you teach in a junior high or a middle school concept? My hubby was one of the first in the middle school programs, and still teaches it at McKendree U.
Let us know what questions you have as you wait for boot camp.
Hi Charlotte, Let's just say the hubby likes being retired even more! He now subs in grades 2-8. Also, he is an administrative assistant sub for an investment company whenever their admin assist needs a day off. WE just came back from Georgia and visiting our son before his sub deploys.
Hi Charlotte! It's so nice to hear from someone that had the same ship date. I got My Kid in a Box yesterday. So, if you haven't received yours yet; you should see it real soon. I have no idea if our sons will be in the same Ship/Div, but its nice to reach someone on the same "time clock."
