HI, I am excited to meet you! It is nice to have others that understand this transition :-) We are going to make our arrangements tomorrow. I think we are going to stay at the hotel on base. My boyfriend is Navy Chief Retired after 23 years. What is your recruts name? How is he doing? I was in WA DC last spring with my son, it was so awesome.
    Thanks for saying HI.

That is what my daughter was saying. I guess that is the hardest part coming together as a team. I guess that is always an issue at working learning how to become a team...

So we finally booked our flights yesterday!!! I am so excited. We are landing at O'Hare at 6:45 pm on Dec 2nd and staying at the Navy Lodge Thursday and Friday. Sat we are going to stay in downtown Chicago and go site see. What are your plans? Are you planning on going to the mixer at the Ramada? I think we are for a while anyway.

Ashley is going to be an MA and they leave at 2am Saturday morning. We only get Friday with her, but it is awesome that we get any time with her. Have you received any letters lately. I got one from Nov 14th saying Hell Week is over and the Chief likes them again. I felt so bad she set me an letter the other day saying she was sorry, would be a good girl (which she was anyway) and would get a full time job and go to school... I wanted to jump in my car and go and
    grab her.

    Hope all is well,

    Tracy
