Was concerned or afraid
The Navy offers opportunities that...
So far...have a recruiter that is in it for your child and not for the numbers that he/she gets.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

and yes I am short. too short for that matter. all my brothers (3) of them are all 6'3" and over. myself 5'4" lol i dont know what happened there. but i do believe dustin inherited that trait. he is already 6'1 and only 19...he is gonna be a long tall linky one for sure...
I KNOW...prayers started for div 359 early this morn already...I am so excited to see out new sailor friday...and I have already packed one suitcase full of coats, gloves, hats, etc..lol..and just as much kleenex I believe lol I know I will need it. the pics they post on RTC of the graduation ceremony looks so emotional...GOOD LUCK to your son also!

hi Pam, he got hair cut / shaved grew back and he cut it again.. hard to get mad at him he is really getting into studying etc. but slacking off with doing chores>>>>> guess he'll learn different soon enough, we have about 32 days..and counting..friends are rally round with parties and get together.. my cousin is throwing open house for her dad's 90th birthday in 11 days so he'll see loots of family he might not have otherwise.. All in God's time... trying to keep strong.. at times its hard.. thanks for being there for me
hi Pam, been busy as you know, various emotions..with him leaving in 6 days.. had a small accident last night but okay, car just looks like someone punched or karate kicked it in the side.(rear qtr panel by trunk) turned in to get gas and bamb. looked at his post with pictures with his friends and the tears start.. proud of him know this is good for him and his futures but can't turn off the waterworks.small group of 15 having early Christmas for him God love his big sis for organizing this for the family.thanks for listening
talked with my Joe last night before he went out with friends to hang out over coffee. He's ready .. hope I am.. been good at not letting him see me cry.. he proably thinks it doesn't bother me.. thats a joke.. tears flow freely...God i'm going miss him but this is his calling and the hard part will be BC once that is over he feels it will be much easier. He has a friend, girl going to Great Lakes same time. I am lucky we're just 1 1/2 hour away and his A school will also be Great Lakes. thanks for the encourgaging words.
