    You aren't intruding...not at all!  Well, some RDC's will make "thick" envelopes be opened in front of them.  Of course, the recruits don't like this...so we always encourage people to keep the letters normal-size. Was your recruit allowed to receive these bandages (prior permission given?)?  Your recruit most likely will have to open it in front of the RDC and a decision will be made as far as being allowed to keep them.  I wouldn't worry about it...on the pictures being printed on paper, it is not only the thick envelope if several or sent, but the limited storage space that they have to keep them in.  Paper stores better!
