A little about me:
I am the mother of three wonderful kids. I have two girls in High School and my son just completed his first year.

My husband of 11yrs comes from a military family. His father and two bothers are Ret. Air Force.

We are very proud of our son for joining the Navy. He is following in my fathers foot steps. As proud as we are, being away from our son is extremely difficult on me and his sisters.

My husband is a Lt. with our Fire Dept. for the last 25yrs. I am a stay at home mom and teach swim lessons w Infant Swimming Resource.

The Navy offers opportunities that...
As a mother, it has been very difficult not seeing my son for nearly one year. The most important thing that I've learned is "you need to let go" and take comfort in knowing that our loved ones are safe and learning skills that will last a life time.

Hi Michelle, welcome. Your right, so far there doesn't seem to be too many of us from Div 101.  My son's name is Russell. We're looking forward to going to Chicago for PIR. Will you be going? He will be going to Pensicola for A-School after Bootcamp.   Donna

From what I know so far PIR is in am. I've heard that we need to be there like 7:30 or  8:00 am.  We can't wait to see him. Southwest had some pretty good airfares and they don't charge for luggage.
