Of particular importance is the use of the “Search” function. You should do searches in blogs, forums, discussions for answers in previously posted threads BEFORE adding a NEW blog/discussion. Finally, it takes time to learn how to use this site. Be patient. Check your page & status box often. Best of luck, BunkerBee and AbbyblueOK (from the New Moms Stop Here Group)
I'm in California and my son left in August...he was part of the DEP training. Has your son left yet? What ship, what division? PIR?
In regard to blue candles, when our boys are scheduled for Battlestation, I've heard it is tradition to light a blue candle for 12 hours...and I guess we pray real hard that they pass.
T-shirts, I will have to find the link and forward.
Hi there! Today my son graduated from FRAC in San Diego.....so proud of him. He's waiting to hear when he goes to SERE......he knows he will be living in Norfolk. So, right now, it's a matter of being told when to go to either SERE or Norfolk. It is pretty amazing isn't it?
Hi there! Very excited for you guys on your son's completion of RSS....and you get to go see him? YAY! Enjoy your trip - we were there last summer and it's a very pretty place. My son has finished FRAC and comes home next week for 7 days.
I'm your neighbor......off of Hwy 290 and FM 973 near Manor......the photo's from RSS came from my son who got them from some of the instructors and fellow students who took pics during that time. How exciting your son does his first helo jump today! YAY!! My son had FRAC in San Diego....he was Romeo. Is your son Romeo?
