    Hey girl. I havent recieved any letters yet but i just got his address today! Have you gotten your boyfriends yet? I was so excited when I got it today hopefully you have his or will soon! A lot of girls say they didnt recieve a letter for about 2 or 3 weeks just depending.

    Congrats!! That website is really cool thank you but my boyfriends division number isnt on there yet. :( I guess i'll just keep looking on it to see it when it updates!  He is Ship 3 Div 152. You said you're boyfriend got to boot camp the 1st right? or did he go to meps on the first? We were thinking my boyfriends graduation would be May 6th or 13th. But if your boyfriend left 2 days before mine maybe his will be that last week of april if not at least may 6th and not the 13th!! Im so happy we both got addresses today though!! :)

    Well unfortunately they are in different divisions, and different PIR dates.

    mine is in div 149, so he has PIR on 4/29.

    But I would still love to talk and get to know each other!

    If you've had bad days of missing him like me it helps to have another girlfriend to talk to!

    that'd be awesome if they could write us back this week! my boyfriends first day at boot camp was the 3rd he left for meps on the 2nd. You will have to let me know when you get your first letter! I am so ready for PIR!

    Yeah I agree, the first week was the hardest. But I've got one week down, 7 more to go.

    You only have 6!

    Just so ready to get there and see him already!

    Definitely missing him a lot, but I just try to do whatever I can to keep myself busy and keep my mind off of how much I miss him.

    Yeah that is too bad about the PIR date! Sounds good i'll let you know when i get mine too since they really arent that far behind each other!! Don't think your the only one paranoid about the address! lol I rechecked the envelopes i mailed out like 100 times to make sure they were EXACTLY how i recieved his address!!

    Clay has been gone aprox. 6 weeks and besides the 'im here' call I have received 1 call. It lasted about 35min and that was about a week and a half ago (on a Friday at about 4:30pm) I started writing him about 3days after he left (as soon as his recruiter gave me his address) cause I wanted him to have lots of mail. Well when I received! His first letter, at week 3 he told me he was excited cause theyd start getting mail the day after he wrote me. Lol he had no idea id been writing!! They dont receive mail until the recruit in charge of mail has been trained (cuz its federal) and apparently that takes awhile. In the first few weeks I always got 3or 4 letters on Thurs (they can write you all week but only mail it on Sundays however they can receive mail everday :)). This week however I got a letter today (he can now mail on Tues. And Thurs. Too) so as time goes on it gets better. Not gonna lie first 3 weeks absolutely suck!! :/

    Yes theres a reason the first 4 weeks are the 'long hall' and the last 4 are the 'fast track' the no communication makes the time drag on. Once you get mail it flys by. Dont expect a lot of calls. Theres always 'rumors' from people on here that they got a ton but in the few months ive been here ive never talked to anyone who got more than 1 until after battle stations (they can call more when they're official sailors). But the letters work wondera when you get them so you'll be alright. Just hang on there!!!

    Yeah for once I actually like school. haha! It keeps my mind off missing him and focused on other things. But one week down! I'm so glad! I've been mailing letters since the day I got his address and I've been writing one every night and mailing it every morning :) I can't wait to get a letter back that will help even more!

    Yea.. Time is moving super slow and I just mailed my first letter on Monday.. I hope our division started to write and that we recieve letters sometime this week. Im still a little worried and a little stress so those letters will help out alot... Time is moving very slow tho... I know its been two weeks but we still have 6 more to go.. ugh.. That would be exciting if my boyfriend and your boyfriend actually knew each other. They would probably be happy that there girlfriends talk to one another.. :-)

    Hey, How are you today.. Toay is okay for me, despite the fact that I keep having moments of me breaking down. I dont know what happened. I was doing so good but I think it's because it's my boyfriends borthday today and we arent celebrating it together :-( but I try to look at it as everytime we are together, there will always be something to celebrate :-). But I hope today is good day for you. Im also hoping that we get letters today or some time this wek. Fingers are crossed. Im just super anxious because I wanna know how they are doing.

    I got his official form letter today!

    I started crying because he said "Tell Stacy I miss her and I love her"

    I also got a phone call! Apparently he needed security clearance or something? I'm not sure what it was for but it was nice to talk to him and hear is voice. even though I cried for like an hour afterwards it still was the highlight of my day! he said he's already written be 5 letters and he will mail them to me on Sunday! I'm so excited!

    yeah the other girls I talked to are jealous too! But since all of you get to go a week before me it makes us fair! :) ha! 

    But at least I can tell you that you should get your boyfriends first letter either middle of next week or the end of the next week so that should be something you can look forward to!

    I just hope yours will be upbeat! I have a feeling mine won't be happy at all since he was so miserable on the phone call. So don't be surprised if you have a lot of him talking about missing you in his letter! Me and the other girls are preparing for he worst, but hoping for the best!

    They receive mail everyday, but they can only send mail on Sundays. They are only allowed to write on Sundays, but a lot of them will write at night time when they can't sleep because a red light is left on (so don't write in red, pink, or orange!)

    I already know his will be miserable which will be really really hard. But at least once we get our letters we will know exactly what it is that they need cheering up on. 

    And by the way, we will get our first letters around the same time they get ours, so don't be surprised if they don't respond to anything you've said to him yet. He will soon.

    Just so ready for the letters! Should get it sometime this week!!

    Hey sam, I hope your having a good day. No I didn't get one but Meg whose hubby is in the same division received one today. She lives an hour away from GL but this also means that ours is on its way. We will definitely see something this week. Fingers crossed. She mentioned that they've been punished bc a lot of the young guys don't take it serious. So hopefully we get a call this week or next week but I hope our sr's write in there letters when they are due to make another phone call.
