yeah I live in the creek... lol its not bad. I LOVE downtown Charleston!! There is a restaurant in Summerville called Logans, its alot like the one you were talking about, peanuts on all the tables and you toss the shells on the floor.... never heard of Rivers though? The NWS is still here... This is the A school location for the Nukes.
I believe she may be in ship 6. That is unless ship 4 is back up and running. She is most likely in the FIT div. now. Give her a day or so and she will call and give you an address. They are great in RCU/FIT. Do you know if it was injury or illness? Or just not able to make the run? Any way I can help let me know, and for some assurance, it can and will end in a good way. My daughter did and she is now done with A-school (in TX) now at Gulfport awaiting her ECS school.
I want to say it is the USS A. Burke. (I can not spell it forgive me). It has been what seems like forever ago. Poor girl, I know things get to them and then they just refuse to go to medical. Mine had an ankle injury early on, then got sick, (thought she was over it) then got sicker... It was pretty bad when she was finally set back. She had an infection that turned in cysts. Once over that (they had to cut one out and drain another then some very heavy and strong antibiotics) she was getting back to good. Until all the stress settled in and she ebded up with a jaw issue. This is however not something she was going to let stop her. She still to this day has the jaw problem, and lives with it. She was told (funny now) you do not need a jaw to serve your country!
The RDC's in RCU/FIT are awesome. They want to see your girl move on, not move back. They will work with her, a bit low key there, they have the chance to get healthy.
They call each week and if doing well they will call mid week, mine were almost always a 40 min call.
Please do, I know she will do this, you have to faith for her and for you. You are a Navy mom and prior Navy. You know what it takes and also how bad you must want this to come this far. My kiddo is a CE. She is part of the Seabee's. She loves her job and her bee family. You girl will also, and will yes be great once at A-school.
Awesome... I am so happy for her and of course you too. Now you will sleep so much better and soon have the contact you have longed for with her. Bravo Zulu!
