A little about me:
I am a mother of three kids. My oldest son has been in the Navy for 5 years. I have another son that is leaving for the Navy (boot camp) next week. I believe it is going to be harder than I thought to see my second son leave.

My oldest was very thankful that I mailed tons of letters, pictures and packages to him. He said that is what kept him going. I look forward to my other son's boot camp graduation. It is one of the most wonderful American experience.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

    He will go straight to South Carolina to NUKE school and be there for 2 years.  Cant wait till the 22 of April

    P days are processing days, and do not count toward boocamp.  Then they start day 1 of their approximate 8 weeks till PIR (graduation to the max!)

    All I know is that mine will leave for NUKE school but not sure if that is considered a grad and go or not.
