A little about me:: I am a mother of three kids. My oldest son has been in the Navy for 5 years. I have another son that is leaving for the Navy (boot camp) next week. I believe it is going to be harder than I thought to see my second son leave.

When I heard “Navy,” I...: Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...: My oldest was very thankful that I mailed tons of letters, pictures and packages to him. He said that is what kept him going. I look forward to my other son's boot camp graduation. It is one of the most wonderful American experience.
Our Navy experience so far...: It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

He will go straight to South Carolina to NUKE school and be there for 2 years. Cant wait till the 22 of April

P days are processing days, and do not count toward boocamp. Then they start day 1 of their approximate 8 weeks till PIR (graduation to the max!)

All I know is that mine will leave for NUKE school but not sure if that is considered a grad and go or not.
