He left on March 1st. I've found alot of other ladies with the same date that they left and the same ship, however I haven't found anyone with the same division yet. Hope I have the right division!!

Thinking of you, Renee.  Hope you get some news today!  ~April

Were you able to get through to public affairs?  Or did your son's recruiter have any luck?
  • AprilRDMom(ET Nuke)

UGH!  That is so frustrating! I hope you get something soon!  Either from the recruiter or ... even better a letter from your son!  The waiting is awful, I feel for you.

They only get to write on Sundays, so I'm hoping every Thursday will be "happy mail day"! I hope this week it is for you and another N4M friend, Carla, too!  I agree it would be good to get out of the house...if it's not nice enough to walk, maybe go for a drive, meet a friend for breakfast or lunch (that gets my vote).  Something that will distract you so  you could take a little break from thinking and worrying.
  • AprilRDMom(ET Nuke)

Oh my gosh!!!  I'm so glad you heard from him!  He is absolutely right, being set back one week is nothing when you look at the big picture!  Bet he won't forget stamps again now that he knows how worried you were!  I wish the Navy allowed texting!  I think I would've preferred that INSTANT communication as well!  SO HAPPY for  you!  :)

    hi Reneric!

I haven't heard a word about the DIV C.O. or the make up of the DIV as to

guys and gals.  We seem to have some wonderful kids, though, based on the comments

for PIR 4/29/11....I would scan through the comments on PIR 4/29/11 and see what u can find out.  We are just BEGINNING to get phone calls and mail!  :)

    Reneric,

omgosh, so sorry to hear about your son.  Maybe the guys in our DIV can help him make it through!  It's so hard not being there and being able to talk about it right away.  If he could just hang in there a little longer, it seems

like things get easier (a little) the longer they are there.  Praying for you and your son!
