A little about me:: Hi, I am a mother of 4. I work full-time, wife of a pastor and attend college full-time! So I stay extremely busy. This "Navy" stuff is all new to me but I am so happy for websites like this to help us moms!!! I am learning so much about the Navy thru this website. Hi southern mom;I"m sure our sons know each other,I have not received a phone call either,we r all wondering why ?MY sons first letter sounded like he hated it ,but his 2nd letter sounded better, he said the 4th wk is supposed to be better,I can't wait to see him,he has never been away from home,it should be interesting on how he does. luv to chat sometime.He did say they didn't like people from Ca. or Texas,

He also sounded good,like he was adjusting very well.we r so lucky to have great son's serving our country.I need to get on the ball & make reservations,so expensive but well worth it

Hi,

I also am a mother a four, ages 20 through 4. My sailor is my oldest daughter if things go as planned her PIR date is 7/15/11. We live in a rural town in central Utah. I am waiting for any information with my fingers crossed and prayers often.

My daughter is in ship 07 division 227. We would like to attend meet and greet, but I haven't even purchased tickets or reservations yet! That is on my list for tomorrow. I also have to find out if my four year old can come for sure. My understanding is that he can be our fifth person, but am not sure.

WOW . THIS WEEK HAS FLOWN BY . WE ARE FINALLY DONE WITH OUR SURVEY AND WE DID GREAT . NOW I CAN FOCUS ON MY TRIP. I LITTLE BIT HAS CHANGED. THE FRIEND THAT WAS COMING WITH ME WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COME , SO I HAD TO GET ANOTHER FRIEND AT THE LAST MINUTE. OUR FLIGHT SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED AND WE WILL NOT WE ABLE TO MAKE IT TO THE MEET AND GREET . IT WILL BE LATE WHEN WE GET IN . I STIKLL WANT TO CATCH UP WITH YOU FRIDAY AFTER GRADUATION. ALSO I WILL NOW BE STAYING AT THE QUALITY INN 4 MILES FROM THE NAVAL ACADEMY . I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE LEAVING MONDAY . HAVE A SAFE TRIP . SEE YOU THERE .
